7// Drugs and Candy

Madelyn POV

Me and Fangs walked into school the next day hand-in-hand. "This is new." Jughead said coming up to me. Fangs had a big cheeky grin on his face, while I smiled. Betty jumped up in excitement. "I'm so happy for you guys." Betty said while Veronica and some random guy came into the room. "And who might this be?" I whispered in Fangs ear. "No clue." Fangs replied. "This is my friend Nick, Nick this is Betty and Madelyn Cooper." Veronica introduced. Betty smiled and held her hand out, he kissed it. I pulled Betty's hand back while Fangs held mine in protection. Apperently, Nick is hosting a party at the Five Seasons. "I'm going just to protect Betty." I explained to Fangs. "Okay, just be careful." Fangs said holding me waist. "I promise." I said kissing his lips, he immediatly kissed back.

It was late at night, me and Betty were at the 5 Seasons with Veronica, Archie, Cheryl, Josie, Kevin, and Reggie. "Let's move to something with a little more kick." Nick says taking out Jingle Jangle. Betty grabbed my hand. "No, it's okay. Breathe." Betty said. Before I got sent away with Polly, one of the other reasons why was because I had got addicted to Jingle Jangle. "Madelyn? Care to part take?" He asked. I bit my lip. I wanted some. I took it and Betty looked at me sad, knowing I had no control over why I took it.

"Betty. I'm sorry. I really wanted it." I slurred. Betty rubbed my back as we sat on a park bench. "I have nowhere to goooo. I don't want Fangs to see me like this. He won't be happy, he will be disappointed in me." I said while Betty rubbed my arm. I took out my phone and called Pea. "Madelyn? What's wrong?" Pea asked through the phone. "Nevermind." I said and I started laughing. "Buh bye." I slurred and hung up. "We are going to Fangs. We are starting you on your pills again, then we are going to Fangs." Betty said pulling me up and driving to the trailer.

When we got there, I walked normally. I acted as normal as possible. It is pretty damn hard. I opened the door and walked in to see Fangs on the couch. I had the pills in my pocket. "Hey, your home late." Fangs said worried. He came over to me when I didn't answer, looking into my eyes. "Are you high?" He asked softly. I slowly nodded as he pulled me into his embrace. I cried into his chest as he held me close. "What happened?" Fangs asked pulling me towards his room. We sat on his bed and I sighed. "Before I first got sent away, I had got addicted to Jingle Jangle. I was a mess. I got clean, then I went to that thing with Betty and that Nick guy offered it. I took it and now Betty wants me to start my anti-addiction pills again to help resist the urge to have it again." I explained, a tear falling down my face. "Shh, it's okay. Your not going to take anymore, okay?" Fangs said softly. I nodded and cuddled into his chest as we laid down on the bed. He held me close, while I listened to the sound of his heart beat. Soon falling into a deep sleep.

Fangs POV

I walked into school the next day with Madelyn, our finger intertwined. "Look at our little lovebirds. Madelyn, I would like you to go to the Lodge open house tomorrow. The town is going, so should you." Veronica said walking away. "Bitch." I said to Fangs, he nodded in agreement.

I decided I will go to the open house, my mom is going. After Betty put up the mugshot, she has been acting like a serpent. Fangs was hanging out with Sweet Pea and Toni, so it was just me. I walked in and saw Nick, he waved me over, and I walked to him. "Hey." He said. "Hey, nice open house, great turnout." I said, he nodded. He turned around a grabbed two champagne glasses, he gave me one. "Thank you." I said while I drank it.

Veronica and Josie were doing a performance, while I started feeling dizzy. "Woah, you okay?" Nick asked holding onto me. "Yeah, I just. Need some air." I said, he led me up to a room, no outside. "Where are you leading me?" I slurred. He threw me onto a bed, I tried to fight back, but I was too weak. He climbed on top of me and sucked on my neck. "Get off of her!" Veronica yelled while ripping him off of me. Cheryl came over and shook me, I couldn't get up I was too weak. She lifted me up and laid me head on her shoulder. We soon left for Veronica's.

"I want Nick to suffer, to burn in hell." I said, voice filled with venom. "Call Fangs?" Betty asked. I shook my head no and cried. "He will try to beat him, he'll kill him." I explained. As much as I wanted to be in his arms, I can't.
