All of my dreams were filled with nightmares and there was no way that anyone could tell so they could wake me up. The main dream was watching, a mother who I never knew, die in front of my own eyes, over and over again. The thing that surprised me though was the fact that it wasn't my brother killing her, but Felix. Throughout the whole dream, it felt more like a memory and every time he killed my mother. The entire time he would look at me with a sadistic, joker like smile on his face like he was proud of what he had done.

"Anya," I heard voice say as someone started to jostle me awake. "Anya, it's time to get up now."

I slowly came to and opened my eyes to see that it was dark out. It was hard to tell who had woken me up since my eyes were having trouble adjusting but I could tell that it was Jack.

"Jack?"

"Hey, we need to pack up."

"Where are we going?" What had happened while I was asleep?

"We're going to my father's place." My eyes had finally adjusted, and I could see that Jack was sitting on the edge of the bed and was refusing to look at me. I knew his father was a sensitive topic and it took me by surprise to hear him say that we were going to his house.

"Why? Aren't we safe here?" I asked while crawling across the bed in order to sit next to him.

"No, we're not. The house is no longer safe, and neither is the apartment. My father's is the last place that Peter will look for you."

"Are you going to be alright? With going there?"

"I honestly don't know. I'm more worried about my mom being around him and I'm also worried about you because of Peter."

"Jack...I don't think Peter is the problem."

"What are you talking about?" he asked, finally looking at me.

"Remember when we were in Arith and that girl said that we need to worry more about Felix than Peter?"

"Yeah but what does tha-"

"Well I had the same dream, repeating over and over again. Every single time it showed Felix being the one who killed my mother, not Peter."

"Anya, what are you trying to say?"

"Felix is the one behind this, not Peter! Felix is the one who killed my mom and wants to use me. He's manipulated Peter and is using him to get to us."

"Are you sure about this?"

"It's the only thing that makes sense. Felix is the one who keeps mentioning my powers and whenever Peter is around me he tries to protect me."

"Do you not remember what happened back in Arith though? Peter hurt you!"

"That wasn't Peter!" I yelled while jumping up from the bed. I'm mad at myself for not realizing this sooner but the person who had hurt me had green eyes, Peter has gray eyes like me.

"Anya," he started, speaking to me like I was a child. "Do you have any proof that it wasn't him?"

"Peter has gray eyes, not green." Jack's eyes widened in realization which was followed by a groan.

"I can't believe I didn't notice that sooner. You want to help him, don't you?"

"He's my big brother. Even though he's been a terrible one, he's still my family."

"We're not helping him." We heard a voice hiss at us. We both looked up quickly to see Blake standing in the doorway with a very pissed off look on her face. "He killed my best friend, your mother Anya, I refuse to lose you and Jack to him."

"It wasn't really him though! It was Felix!" I said defensively.

"Mom, she's telling the-"

"I don't care! Peter is as good as dead if he's with Felix. Now pack up your things quickly, we're leaving in ten minutes." She quickly stormed out of the room, leaving me and Jack there more confused than ever.

"She can't be serious! Peter is my brother and I need to help him!" I yelled while gesturing, angrily toward where Blake had been.

"We will. I think we just need time to figure out a good plan."

"Okay. I'm going to go pack before your mom comes back."

"Sounds good. If you need me, I'm just next door." Jack stood up and gave me a quick hug and forehead kiss before leaving to go pack his own belongings.

After a few minutes of packing, I suddenly heard a weird tapping sound. I started to look around to try and find it but the seemed that it was coming from my mirror.

"Anya, please answer!" I heard someone who sounded like Peter say through it.

"Peter?" I rushed over to the mirror and saw Peter looking back at me with a panicked look.

"Thank goodness you answered! There isn't much time!"

"Peter what are you talking about?"

"Felix is coming and he's going to kill us. He's only using me to get to you and once he's done with me he's going to kill me. Anya, he'll do the same to you once he's done with you."

"Why are you telling me this? I thought you were the one wanting to use me?"

"I wasn't wanting to use you Anya! All I wanted was my little sister, so I could protect her. Felix has made his intentions clear now and I realize that I was wrong."

"Where are you? We can come get you!"

"No! You can't save me, no one can. I want you to run and hide until you have mastered your powers. That is the only way you can defeat Felix."

"Peter please don't. I need my big brother, please don't say that," I pleaded as the tears finally started to fall.

"PETER!!!!" We both tensed as we heard Felix's voice roar in anger.

"Tell me where you are. Please!"

"I'm sorry Anya. I love you and I'm sorry." Tears were now coming down his face as well.

"Peter please!" I yelled while banging my fists against the mirror.

"Tell Jack that I'm sorry for everything. I also need to tell you that I didn't kill Mom."

"I know," I whispered. "It was Felix. Peter please let us come get you."

"You can't."

"Peter! What are you doing?!?!" Peter tensed as Felix came into view with fire in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Anya. I do love you."

"Peter no!" Felix stormed over to Peter, grabbed him and started to beat him right before my eyes. "PETER!!!!" I screamed as I banged my fists against the mirror. The force of my fists caused the mirror to suddenly shatter, making the image disappear.
