i stood at the air port waiting. my four year old daughter, Mira, at my side.it had been months since she'd seen her Daddy and she just couldn't wait. His plane had just landed and they were getting off now. First to come out was Tom and Max laughing. Then Jay stumbled into view, followed by Siva who was laughing at Jay. Then Nathan came into view. He looked tired and warn out. i'd told Nathan we couldn't make it to the air port because Mira had a doctors appointment. So he wasn't expecting us.
"Daddy!!" Mira shouted in her high pitch voice. Nathan's head shot up. his eyes searching for us. "Daddy!" she shouted again and thats when his eyes met mine. he dropped his bag and ran to me. Grabbing me in a tight hug and kissing me.
"God i've missed my girls!" he said letting me go and picking up Mira and spinning her around.
"Surprise!" i smiled at Nathan, he just smiled back and kissed Mira's forehead.
