Its a surprise
**
It was a cold grey winters evening, the living room of the loft was illuminated by the lights of the Christmas tree
You were sat on the sofa watching the TV when Derek walked through the front door
"Hey sweetheart" he said closing the door behind him
Smiling you replied "Hi babe"
"I've got something for you" he mummers whilst rushing over to you
You looked at him confused, wondering what had got the usually confident werewolf
"Okay? What is it" He handed you bag
Just a plain brown paper bag. Opening it up, you pulled out the mysterious object
"My favourite book. I love the gift but you know i already have this"
"I know but I think this ones a little different"
"Are you sure Der" You questioned
"I'm sure, trust me. Can we read it together"
"Sure. When shall we read it?" "Now" Stated Derek
And so the two of you sat there for hours, wrapped in a fluffy blanket, reading your favourite book
"And so the man got down on one knee and said 'Y/N Stilinski will you marry m-" you stopped, trying to process the words you just read
Derek stood you both up
"Der-what? I don't understand" you could barely form a sentence
"Y/N we've been together for four years now. I've never loved anyone as much as I have you, I never thought I could love again after the loss of my family. You make me the happiest man alive. So with that said, will you, Y/N Stilinski do me the honour of becoming my wife?"
