Clarke wasn't your typical girl. She wasn't at all girly like the others; yes she liked to sing and dance, no she didn't like to wear makeup and dresses. She strived to succeed, she wanted to stand out, she adored being different. Clarke longed for adventure, every night she would wish for a chance to do something crazy and make the most of her life. When Donna Sheridan offers to take her across the world, she just can't refuse. Whilst she longed for adventure, she was also on the hunt for her ecstasy — and that just so happened to have came in the form of a blonde haired, blue eyed, Swede.
Bill Anderson was hardly your typical gentleman. A lone wolf through and through; he could do whatever he pleased. A man in a boat sailing wherever the wind took him. To say he was afraid of commitment was an under statement; he was terrified. It's why he never stayed in one place for too long, the risk of being tied down to someplace - or someone - was too much of an ask when a sailing career and publishing contract lay on the table. But that didn't mean he couldn't have fun and that's what he though Clarke was - a bit of fun. Little did he know how wrong he truly was.
