It is nothing; I am here; I am still here.

Being a prefect had its advantages, like being able to take points( even if it was just for its own house), having most of the times an excuse for arriving late in class or being able to use the prefect bathroom. Netherless, doing late night patrols was not something Victoria would count as an advantage. Head boy and girl had warned them at the beginning of the year about the jeopardies of the castle at night, yet Victoria thought the only danger that came from this activity was the lack of sleep she got. She never saw a creature running around the school grounds - just some students being out past curfew. Most of them were somewhere snogging or similar activities, which mostly happened with fewer clothes and more physical contact.

The first month of school had passed rather quickly in Victoria's opinion. The blond which currently occupied one of the armchairs in front of the chimney in the Gryffindor tower, was reading a rather interesting book about antic charms while drinking her coffee. The liquid was like always just drank by her when she had to stay up (late), and seeing as she was now waiting for Remus to do with her the patrols, the liquid had to be there. Otherwise, the tiredness would have won and she would fall asleep faster than somebody could say Merlin's beard. Most of the students were already in bed, seeing as it was way past curfew, and because of that, the only sounds filling the room include the crackle of the fire and tapping of her middle and index finger against the back of her book.

As she placed herself on the couch, the two Gryffindors only had 15 minutes before their patrol should have started. So after a while of reading through her book, the girl was sure that he should have been there by now. And with a glance at the Clock that stood in the back of the room, she knew that he indeed should have been there an hour ago. She was curious what would occupy him so long, seeing that he was never late, Victoria made her way tiptoeing up the steps to the boys' dorm, hoping not to wake up anyone.

Finding the dorm was not a difficult task, as Victoria already been there because of Peter/Remus. After a slight knock with no response following after that, she carefully opened the door, just to be greeted with the sight of all of the marauders being asleep. The first person to who her gaze went was the boy lying under a thick blanket in a position that reminded her of a fetus. The bed next to it, and thus closest to the door, included Sirius. With his head on the end of the bed and his arms stretched as if he was about to party, the grey-eyed boy was a rather funny sight. She kept her giggle low and before this fact could change a soft snore made her shift her gaze to James. Seeing him even sleep with a small smirk on his face yet so peaceful, made a small smile appear on Victoria's face.

From the moment she went into the room without waiting for an answer made her feel like a crazy fangirl, but as she saw the messy haired boy lying on his back with one arm behind his head and the other on his stomach made this thought grow. Okay, not that fact. Rather than red boxer shorts with little lions on them, happened to be the only thing he wore. She had seen him before shirtless, but watching him being so peaceful made her gaze linger for a moment longer than usual.
