Although I'm the biggest Locklyle shipper (can you tell by the numerous fanfics?), I can't get this idea out of my head, so here we go :D
_______________________We were celebrating another successful case at 35 Portland Row with pizza, lemonade and for Holly and me a glass of wine.
Lucy was just drawing a picture of the ghost we had captured today when Holly tipsily sat up, "We should play Truth or Dare."
Everyone exchanged looks.
George raised a brow, "How drunk are you?"
Holly laughed, "Jesus, you guys need to get the sticks out of your butts."
Lockwood raised his brows, "She's right. Let's do this."
"What?" I nearly choked on the wine I was just sipping.
"Listen, at our age we should be having a little more fun or else we turn 20 and end up unkissed and sad like Kipps." Lockwood grinned.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not a virgin like you, Tony, so wipe that smile off your face or I will."
George whistled, "Oh Kipps, are you making him an offer?"
I swallowed dryly, "I'm surely not offering you, shithead."
"Kids!" Holly sighed, "Shut up. Give me that empty Coke bottle, Lucy."
She took it and set it down on the drawing cloth or whatever these kids called the dirty napkin on their table.
I couldn't believe that I was actually playing spin-the-bottle with a bunch of horny lunatics.
Holly gave the bottle a tap at the side of the bottom and watched it spin. The cap landed on George.
"Truth or dare?" Holly smirked a drunk smirk.
George sighed, "Truth. I'm not moving."
"Ok, let me think... Do you have a crush on Flo?" Holly chuckled
George groaned, "Ugh, seriously? Who cares?"
She laughed, "You could have just said yes."
"I could ask you the same thing by the way." George raised a brow and gave the bottle a tap. It was Lucy's turn.
"Dare, you wimpy bastards." she announced.
"Okay, I dare you to kiss the hottest person in the room." George took a bite from his pizza.
Lucy hesitated for a second, then she got up and walked over to Lockwood. She took a deep breath and then dramatically leaned over to kiss her face in the reflection of the cupboard glass next to him.
I couldn't help but laugh at Tony's confused look as she pressed her lips against the glass. The arrogant smirk was completely washed off which wasn't usual.
Holly couldn't stop laughing either, "Good one, Carlyle, good one."
Lucy sat back down in her chair, grabbed a piece of margherita and lazily spun the plastic bottle. This time it landed on Lockwood who still stood leaning against the kitchen cupboards.
"Truth or dare?" Lucy chewed with raised brows.
He sighed, "Uh... Dare, I guess."
She swallowed her pizza and gave him a examining look.
"Hm." Lucy wiped a strand of hair out her face with the back of her hand, "Hmmmm... I dare you to... Kiss..." she looked around, "... Kipps."
"Oh Lucy, come on!" Lockwood shook his head, "Why?"
"Yeah, I don't like the idea either." I decided to chime in. This was seriously the last thing I needed right now considering the fact that I nearly got ghost touched today. Now that I was comparing situations I would rather go with the ghost.
Lucy chuckled evily,"Scared, Tony?" she was imitating my accent which sounded terrible.
Lockwood rolled his eyes, "No, I just..." he sighed, "Fine."
"Fine? Um, do I get a say in this?" I complained.
"Shut up, Kipps, you can be happy that someone kisses you." George growled.
"That's sexual harassment." I protested, eyeing Lockwood who came a step closer to the kitchen counter on which I was sitting.
"Just get it over with, they won't stop nagging." Tony ran his hand through his hair.
"You're their boss, say something!" I crossed my arms.
"Im too tired to argue with Lucy." he smirked at her.
She snorted, "You're scared of me, just say it."
"I'm scared of her." he admitted.
I looked at him, then at Lucy, then back at him. Oh Jesus.
"Fine, but if anyone of you laughs I'll personally chain you to a cemetery door." I sighed.
Lockwood squeezed past George who was grinning like a stupid idiot and stood before me.
"Oh, rules! You won't get away with a lil peck on the cheek." Lucy laughed.
Lockwood made a face, "Damnit. I was so close."
"Rules are.... At least three seconds and on the lips of course." she decided nudging George with an evil glare.
Lockwood exchanged an awkward look with me, he smiled shyly, "Let's just get it over with."
I shook my head and shimmied a little closer to the edge. My stomach felt a little weird at the thought of the guy who I had been looking for a reason to punch for the last three years was about to kiss me. What times we lived in, people.
Tony reached his hand out towards my face, I flinched out of reflex.
"You gotta help me out, buddy." he mumbled.
"Sorry, habit." I shrugged.
His fingers touched my cheek, he pulled me closer to his face. His big Bambi eyes focused me, my lips, to be more specific.
Although I kept telling myself that I was not gay, I couldn't help but notice how full his lips were. No, shut up Quill, he's an arrogant wannabe and also he's two years younger. With pretty good hair.
He ignored the giggles in the background and closed his eyes so I did, too. I felt my stomach turn a little when I felt his breath on my face. Not in the bad way as I expected, though, my skin tickled where he touched me on my face and I could feel my heart rate increasing steadily.
My cheeks were probably as red as my hair at this point, especially now that he had put his hand on my waist. He tilted his head a little, then his lips touched mine. I realized that I had been holding my breath right until then, my body was completely tense.
Oh. His lips were way so much softer than I had thought. He leaned in a little more, making my heart jump because of the intensity. I didn't know what to do with my hands. At first I decided not to touch him since that would have made the situation worse, but when he wrapped his hand around my neck and I noticed his teeth grinding against my lip I couldn't help but hold onto his shoulder, also kinda to stabilize. For a second I was grateful for past-Quill to decide to sit, otherwise I probably wouldn't been able to catch my balance at the rate he was going.
My hand hastily wandered to his neck so his hair just tickled my fingers.
I could feel him smirking and I know that he would have gone right for the tongue when George shouted, "Jesus, three seconds are over, pipe down!"
Lockwood separated from me, exposing my flushed face. I wiped my mouth, trying to chase away the sweet taste he left on my lips.
He winked at me before he turned back around, "Time for revenge."
