Information Gathering

Izuku POV

Reminiscing on what happened previously I could hardly contain myself.

That was so embarrassing!

I tried to make a conscious effort to socialize but I ended up rambling off and being awkward.

If we were to complete this mission we had to be on speaking terms, friends, teammates, companions.

Kirishima and Mina were the easiest to talk to.

The king of jerks was the hardest to talk to, he was vicious and I had no clue what was going through his mind.

The Prince Todoroki was equally as hard, I just couldn't read him.

We were currently stopped at a town called Willows Way.

I was at camp but boredom came easily.

I know I'm supposed to stay put but...

I was now strolling through town.

I dressed to blend in.

Potions and all sorts of magical goods peaked my interest.

I found the rest of the group at a pub.

I waited patiently slightly eavesdropping on one particular conversation.

"The king of dragons really is something."

"He's pretty dangerous. I heard this terrorist group is trying to take his whole empire down."

"Dragons as it is are nearly extinct other than his empire."

"I heard the king of dragons has an interesting girl with him now. Did you hear what happened at the Yuuei ball?"

"Bits and pieces. I feel sort of bad for the girl but she was kind of brave too. She's completely out of her element though."

"She won't survive long here. Anyways I've heard of multiple uprisings. I keep hearing the name Mei Fairy pop up. What's that all about?"

"Ah that. She holds one of the strongest magical ingredients in the world. Her pixie dust. I think it deals with certain love potions. However she's mostly known for her creative skills. She creates all kinds of weapons and tools heavily sought after."

"I heard about that, rather than her magical pixie dust she's known for her ways as a craftsmen. It's said her weapons are the strongest when enchanted. She's someone so valuable that she has a bounty on her head from the terrorist Group."

"Really? What's the bounty?"

"Well they want her either dead or with them. She's that vital to the inevitable war. I think it's something like 500,000,000 jewel? It will probably go up though."

"What I wouldn't give to have one of her weapons!"

"They really are the best. It would be great if I could find her but she's been MIA for about three years now. No word, nothing. The main fairy base was attacked recently, the fairies are scattered."

"So she's completely off the maps?"

"You didn't hear this from me but I heard 'Recovery Girl' was in touch with the fabled Mei not too long ago. She's just in the next town over starting at Tall Tale Tavern."

After that the two dispersed.

Hmmm...

"What are you doing here?! Didn't I f*cking tell you to stay put?"
- Katsuki

"It doesn't matter we got the information anyways."
- Prince Todoroki

"What information?"

"Our next stop. The wicked witch Uraraka."
- Mina

"Wicked?"

"She's not wicked!"
- Iida the knight

"Sounds freaky. Can we celebrate? Pwease King? Just a little bit?"
- Kirishima

"What the hell is there to celebrate? You f*cking idiot you always want to celebrate!"
- Katsuki

"Oh how you wound me. Just a little bit?"
- Kirishima

"Fine but when the moon reaches its highest point we're outta here."
- Katsuki

Everyone poured into another pub across the way called the Blue Moon.

I stayed behind talking with the king.

"What was the information exactly?"

"It was about the witch. Without her we don't even know the ingredients. I have a general idea of what a few might be but nothing is certain."

"I heard something too."

"What?"

"About a fairy named Mei and some information I thought to be valuable."

"Like THE fairy Mei, the one famous for her craftsmanship? I would love to get my hands on some of her weapons. It might be worthwhile... continue."

"There might be some information pertaining to her in the next town over. A person called Recovery girl is staying at the Tall Tale Tavern and apparently they made contact not too long ago."

"We'll stop there then."

"So what now?"

He smirked.

"Celebrate."

"Why?"

"Cause the knuckleheads are just looking for an excuse to get boozed up."

So I walked through the pub doors immediately given some type of drink.

It's okay to let loose a little bit right?

I never had such substances back home...

I'm not home am I?

These people... I can trust them... probably.
