It's been two days since I told Nick about seeing Chandler. He never lets me leave his sight, especially when we went to the doctors. The doctor told me that I was lucky that it was just severe bruising, and nothing was broken. She gave me some pain killers to help ease it up.

"Lark we have to go, or we'll be late," Nick says as he tries to wake me up.

"Okay. I'll be down in a minute," I tell him before getting up and grabbing my clothes. I changed quickly, grabbed my bag and went downstairs to see Nick waiting for me at the bottom.

"Morning Lark," Nick says sweetly before kissing my forehead and taking my hand to lead us outside to his truck.

"Nick. I don't think I should go to school today," I say as we come to stop next to his truck.

"Why? What's wrong?"

"I just don't think I should go to school while I still look like this," I tell him while gesturing to myself. Macey had let me skip school on Thursday and Friday, so I could heal up a little bit.

"What's wrong with how you look?" Nick asked, raising an eyebrow at me questioningly.

"I look like I got into a fight and a car accident that happened on the same day."

"Lark get in the truck please. You look fine and you shouldn't care what others say."

"Easy for you to say," I muttered under my breath while crossing my arms over my chest.

"I'm sorry what was that?" Nick asks while putting a hand to his ear teasingly.

"Nothing," I say as I hop up into the truck. He didn't question me, he just got in and drove us to school.

When we arrived, we sat there for a few minutes sitting in an awkward silence before I broke it, "I'm sorry about all the things I said this weekend. I'm just confused."

"It's okay," Nick says as he takes my hand in his, "Even though you've only had a few memories come back, can we try again? To be together?"

"I'd like that Nick," I told him as I gave his hand a squeeze, "We should probably get to class." He nodded and jumped out the truck with me following right behind him. When he came around and met me at the back he grabbed my hand and started to lead us inside.

"Lark?" I heard someone say. Confused I turn around and see the last person I expected to see.

"Chandler," I breathed.

"Lark about last week and what happened I'm so sorry," Chandler said while stepping towards me.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Nick said while glaring. If looks could kill, then Chandler would be six feet under by now.

"Why?" Chandler shot back, "What's so bad about me talking to her?"

"Because her only memory of you is you shooting her!"

"Nick!" We all looked to see Jax coming over to us but once he saw Chandler and how close Nick was to doing something, he ran over and stood by him. "What's going on here?"

Chandler ignored them and turned back to me, "Lark I never meant to hurt you. Please you have to believe me."

"You shot me Chandler and you expect me to believe you?"

"Lark please. I love you," With just those few words said, Nick went for Chandler. If Jax hadn't been there I'm pretty sure that Chandler would be dead.

"Nick. Nick look at me," I said, trying to gain his attention. It was obviously going to take something drastic to get his attention, so I did the least expected thing, I kissed him. He stiffened more at first but then relaxed and kissed me back. When I pulled away I was able to see that almost all the anger was gone from his eyes. "No fighting please."

"What was that?!?!" Chandler yelled, "I thought you didn't remember him!"

"A lot has happened since I got here," I shoot back at him, "I suggest you leave before I let Nick pound you."

"I'll get you back Lark and you'll be with me," he tells me before stalking off towards the parking lot.

"Mind telling me what that was all about?" Jax asks us.

"I'll explain later man. Let's just get to class," Nick says before turning back to me, "Are you okay? Why did you do that?"

"I'm fine and you weren't responding so I thought that maybe kissing you would calm you down. Probably shouldn't make a habit of it though," I add teasingly.

"I wouldn't mind making it a habit," he says while putting his arms around my waist to pull me closer to him. He leaned down and gently pecked me on the lips before leading us into the school.
