Chapter 1: walkies

17 years later

Elsa's Pov:
I plop myself down on the sofa, and breath out a large sigh of relief as another school day had finished. Damn school is hard when your trying to fit in and simply keep your grades high. Incase your wondering I'm Elsa Arendelle, age 15, I have good grades at school, and my hobbies include singing, drawing, and reading.

There now you know. I pick up my bag and decide to go upstairs before Anna and my parents get home. However it seems I can't even reach my room without being followed by at least one person.

My excitable puppy Olaf. I giggle at him glad to not be completely alone. When I enter my room I place my bag at the end of my bed, then get changed in my bathroom.

I change into pear of white jeans, and a bale blue T-shirt with frost patterns around the collar, and the edges of the sleeves. With no homework I put my TV on and watch the news.

A man with short sticky up black hair, wearing a black suit and tie, stands in front of about 15 microphones. Answering the masses of questions from reporters.

The questions were about children being born with powers.

This was the only thing that overcame 'the pill'. 'The pill' guaranteed any women a perfect birth. However 17 years ago Mr.Smith, the one being interviewed, was the first to discover that children born with powers, any sort of power, killed the mother during birth including Mr.Smith's wife known as Lucy.

And the painful truth for the to be mothers is there is no way to tell if your child will be born with powers or not. Some farther's have excepted there children's gifts without hesitation, overs struggle to except the fact.

I draw my interest back to the TV, and listen in shock at Mr.Smith's attitude towards children with powers

" These children are nothing more than foul monsters, who are only good for tacking their mothers life's!! What's to say that they won't join and become terrorists and demand control over us!!?"

'If you keep talking like that I bet some of them will' I think...

"Mr.Smith! Is it true that you disowned your child from birth!?" a reporter asks egar for something interesting to write about.

"Yes that is true" he says with out a shred of shame.
"The child that took Lucy's life away no longer belongs to me. And I advise any farther in the same position as I was in to do the exact same thing. Immediately! They don't deserv-"

His big speech gets cut off as I instantly turned the TV of not wanting to her any more of that man's foul words.

I can feel it, the frost is building up inside of me, control Elsa! Control! I walk on to my balcony in an attempt to calm down, it didn't seem to work.

As I gripped the railings frost starts to appear across them in a spiral pattern of snowflakes. I immediately pull my hands away and run inside hoping no one saw.

Jack's Pov:
Few! The last of the boxes unpacked, I hope Dad and Emma get home soon with the pizza. We'd just moved house due to Dad's work, we've moved several times in the past as well as schools.

But this time Dad promises that it's a permanent move. Hope he's right this house is awesome! And who knows maybe I'll even meet a girl!

Oh incase you wondering my name is Jack, Jack Frost, I'm 16. I guess the name is appropriate with my well you know...

I grab a water bottle from my mini fridge, and head out onto my balcony. I gaze across the area to see if anything will grab my attention.

And oh boy something does...

I see a girl with platinum blonde hair walk onto her balcony, on the house directly opposite me. She seems tense and angry about something. I admire her beauty for a minute until, something else grabs my attention.

I saw frost appear from her hands and spread across the railings that her hands were clenched around.

I can't believe it, she was born with powers!?

The bottle in my hand starts to frost over, and turn to solid ice, I feel frost form beneath my feet as it spreads across the floor, as I wonder in shock. As I am unable to keep control over my powers.

I feel this emotion spread through me it's ... happiness, because I was no longer the only one who possessed ice powers. She was like me.

I continue to watch the girl as she runs inside, I was about to call out to her, but before I could even think of what to say a certain puppy was begging for a walk at my feet...

Hey guys that was the first chapter I hope you liked it, sorry there was more Elsa than Jack, I'm not favouriting honest. Sorry if the chapters short, I can't really tell seeming though I'm writing on my iPod. I also can't guarantee that every chapter will be the same length, some maybe short and others reeaalllyyy long.
