Chapter 9: Don't Turn The TV On

Jack's Pov:
The sun makes me wince at it's brightness as I wake up. I sit up and remember what happened last night. I don't know why but I can't help but smile, and at the same time feel like a bit of a pervert. Uuh.

I just hope Elsa didn't have any more nightmares. You have no idea how much it hurts to hear her scream like that. I hope she finds the snowflake I left her, I made it so it shouldn't melt at a warm temperature. Though it might melt in hot weather.

I look over in Elsa's direction, and can't help but be disappointed when I don't see her. But I'll see her today any way. I then hear my phone beep singling that I had a text message. I read the message, it read.

A: Come over at 10:30am sorry forgot to tell you times yesterday :)

Me: see you later.

I walk into my bathroom and take a quick shower, and change into a pear of dark brown jeans, dark blue T-shirt and of course my signature blue hoodie with it's frost covered edges.

I then look at the clock. 08:30. Emma won't be up yet, she likes having lie ins. I grab my staff that rests beside my bed, it's the object that channels my power. I had been told that to cause less stress on my body it would be good to have something to channel my powers through. Or so North said.

My mum and dad had no idea, how I could learn to control my powers, so they turned to North. He is one of mum's oldest friends. And he tries his best to help children with powers, so that they can learn to control them.

(A/N basically what Grandbappi is to Elsa that is what North is like to Jack)

I have had multiple visits to North, most to help me with my powers, the other visits just because I want to see him. I guess he's like a second dad to me, though he can never take my real dad's place.

I play with my staff, I tap it onto the floor 2 times and frost starts to cover my room in snowflake patterns. The frost glitz's in the light, and lights up my room. I can't help, but admit ice powers are so beautiful.

I place my staff down, and continue to admire the frost. I then decide to go and see if Emma is awake, I don't want her making me late. I knock on the door gently.

"Emma you up?"

"Uh uh o-one minute! Don't come in! just wait!"

OK, she's hiding something. I can hear her shoving stuff, and the slamming of draws. I wait patiently.

"Ok you can come in now" she says quietly

I turn the door knob and enter her pink room.

"You alright...?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" she asks with a smile on her face.

"I'm not stupid, what were you hiding?"

"I'm hiding nothing"

I look down on her, as if to say ' I'm not stupid' she sighs and gives in.

"I-I was on the phone to, to Jamie, yeah Jamie"

I can tell that she is lying, it's so obvious. But I decide to leave it there as if I prey any further it may upset her. For all I know she could of been doing something majorly private.

I have no idea who this Jamie is though, to cheer Emma up I decide to tease her playfully.

"Oooohh... So who is this Jamie? Is he the boy from yesterday?"

She immediately starts to blush, I'm guessing I'm correct, I can't help but laugh.

"Ok, I'm sorry, be ready for 10:30 ok?"
