The next morning I woke up in a room with a single, queen, bed in it I looked over to my side and saw a brunette boy with red highlights with his face down. 'Albus' I thought to myself. I looked down at my hand which was being firmly grasped by Albus's hand. He was humming a soft song I didn't recognize. I stirred a little and Albus's head shot up. A beautiful smile instantly spread across his face, dimples indenting his face, that made me almost melt inside.
"Hey, baby girl." Albus whispered, his free hand run trough my thick hair. I smiled slightly at him as I stared into his pale blue eyes that seemed to have less colour then yesterday. he had dark bags under his eyes as an indication that he hadn't had any sleep. my eyes trailed down to his lips that were cracked and dry.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked sitting up, my voice hoarse and cracking.
"Almost twenty four hours." He chuckled slightly. He then unlaced his fingers from mine and got up. He went over to a pitcher of water and poured some in a glass. He returned back to his spot next to my bed and handed me the glass. I graciously took it and sipped on it as I watched him intently as he tried hopelessly to get comfortable. I chuckled at him which caused him to look up instantly.
"What?" he asked with his eyebrows furrowed and a small smile playing on his lips. I rolled my eyes and scooted over, patting the empty space next to me. He rolled his eyes back at me and crawled next to me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder pulling me closer to him. I rested my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat.
"What am I gonna do Albus?" I whispered watching his stomach rise and fall. He was running his fingers through my hair.
"Just see what happens till then you can hang around me and the gang, but, Evangaline?"
He asked looking down at me with a worried look on his face.
"Yes?" I asked softly my voice still not fully back from sleep. I looked up at him through my long eyelashes.
"Just stay away from Draco and his... 'slaves' ok?" he said staring deep into my eyes. I saw worry and something else that I didn't recognize. I nodded my head and his frown slowly turned into a smile. I smiled back at him and nuzzled my face into his warm chest. The clicks of high heels were heard from down the hall and Albus nearly fell out of the bed and scrambled to the chair, leaving me with messy hair and confusion.
"Miss Black, I see you've awoken. You've slept quite a while. You must be hungry, come to the dining hall and eat, your friends surely miss you." Proffesor McGonogal said. Her lips pursed into a thin line as usual, with every single hair on her head perfectly in place. My stomache grumbled very loudly. Albus smirked at me and glanced at my stomache.
"Yes, but i don't have any of my clothes I need to go get them out of my room" I said quietly.
"You have some jeans here and I can give you my sweatshirt if you'd like" Albus said smiling.
"Very well, do what you'd like but you need food in that loud belly of yours Evangaline" Proffesor McGonogal smiled and walked away, leaving me and Albus alone. Albus suddenly threw me his sweat shirt that he was just a second ago wearing and was now shirtless. I stared in awe with my mouth gaping open. He smirked and came closer to me and shut my mouth.
"LIke what you see, baby girl?" he whispered in my ear, his sculpted body so close but yet so far away. A whimper came out of my throat suddenly. Albus chuckled and ran his finger along my jaw. I mentally cursed cursed myself for not keeping my 'cool'. He walked away and grabbed a shirt that I have no idea where it came from. I put his sweatshirt on and I inhaled deeply and my eyes rolled to the back of my head due to the intoxicating scent. I quickly put on my jeans while he wasn't looking and had just buttoned them when he turned around. "You ready?" He asked and I nodded.
We arrived at the dining hall and noone was there which i was kind of upset about but i was also happy that i got to spend time alone with Albus. I scarfed down more food than I've ever eaten in my life. "Wow, slow down baby girl, you're going to get a stomache ache" Albus laughed. I stopped for a second and stared at him and without breaking eye contact i lifted a huge spoonful of mac and cheese and shoved it in my mouth. Without him realizing, I scooped some whipped cream on my finger from my pumpkin pie.
I slowly brought my finger up and touched his nose saying "Boop" right as i put the whipped cream on his nose. I quickly got up and ran away. I ran away and turned my head around to see him chasing me. I screamed a little and ran faster. I started jumping over tables when suddenly he wrapped his arms around my stomache from behind me and dragged me to the table where we were eating and he scooped some of the pumpkin pie out of the pan and smashed it into my face. I gasped and wiped pumpkin pie out of my eyes and picked up a different pie and threw it right at his face. I started laughing histarically and realized he had a handful of whipped cream and he was ready to throw it at me. I quickly ducked and saw a look of terror on Albus's face. I quickly turned around to see Mr. Potter wiping whipped cream off his face and glasses.
"That's not how you do it" Mr. Potter said going to Albus and putting him in a head lock. "This is how you do it" he said as he took the whipped cream and sprayed it all over Albus's face and spreading it with his hand all over his face. I stared in complete shock and I fell onto the floor laughing like a maniac. Albus started laughing too and soon Mr. Potter joined us. Who knew whipped cream could be so hilarious.
