the next day at school howler still couldn't tell whats wrong with her sister, she just knew there was somthing wrong but she wouldn't tell her

"why can't she just tell me ?"

howler said as Danielle sigh

"I thought you would be able to see whats wrong with her by yourself "

Danielle said

"come on, im not a mind reader"

"she's jealous howler"

"I could have told you that"

howler said rolling her eyes

"be serious howler, think about it, she started acting weird when you got your room"

"so what....oh, I see what you mean, why would she be jealous of that she can come into my room all she wants"

"that's not it im sure she just feels lonely that you two aren't in the same room"

"but she hates me, she always yells at me about touching her things"

"yes but that's what little sisters do...oops"

Danielle said realized what she said as howler scoffed

"this is stupid, howleen should be happy that she has her own room, I mean ...im the young one so I always got everything last"

"yes but how do you think she feels "

"....happy"

"howler!"

"fine i'll talk to her"

"howler come on, she's your sister at eales act like you care"

"I do care, it's her that was a jerk to me all school year in case you forgot "

"no, I haven't and I know you feel like she doesn't deserve it but try to be the big sister ok"

"im always playing the big sister "

howler said after school she found howleen at a locker

"Hey, Howleen we need to talk ?"

"I don't want to talk "

"Why, you know, you don't have to be scared to come in my room"

"I'm not scared "

"You know what I mean Howleen, I thought you would be happy to have your room why are you so mad now?"

"It's not like you'd care "

"Come on try me "

howler said as Howleen closed her locker and sigh

"....it's just I was glad to have you as a roommate"

"looks to me that you hated me "

"I do...on some days but I guess I just didn't want you to go so soon"

"I'm not gone Howleen I'm right across the hall"

"But it won't be the same "

Howleen said as she looked down howler sigh and hugged her sister

"Yeah I know the feeling, I won't say it because I don't want you to cry but it's ok if you ever feel that way you can come in my room"

"Really, when ever I want? "

"Uh, sure I guess "

"Do you promise?"

"Yes and please don't take this the wrong way but I would like to have my things return when you steal them "

Howler said pulling away from the hug as Howleen giggled

"Aren't I suppose to tell you that ?"

"I don't Rob you Howleen"

Howler said as they laughed, at 11:00 at night howler was half asleep when she heard her bedroom door open and felt her bed skin in

"Good night Howleen"

She said in a whispered

"Night sis"

Howler reply as they both fell to sleep
