 Howler was shattered when she heard that and just stood there in the hallway as everything around her faded. Her eyes opened and she saw she was in a bed as she sat up she saw she must be in the nurse's office. the nurse let her go after running some tests and walked outside to the courtyard, her attention was soon drawn when she saw a boy throwing a basketball in the ring. this boy was 6 feet tall and was a Frankenstein.

" Wow, he's good"

Howler watched him as he Made shot by shot, howler went over to the gate and soon found herself clapping for him and cheering when he made the shots.

"Thank you small fry"

"Your welcome and I'm not Small"

She said as the Frankenstein boy walked over to the gate looking down at her as she looked up at him and saw how really tall he was

"Ok, maybe I am small"

She said which made the Frankenstein Laugh

" So, what's wrong with that?"

" Huh?"

" If you ask me, I think your perfect just the way you are"

He said with a big smile which made howler a bit shock to hear someone say that to her, she had always thought her problem at home with her sisters not listening to her was cause she was the pup, She was about to say somthing but a voice called out to him as it was manny telling him to come in

" Jake come on coach wants us in for a drill"

" Yeah, I'll be there in a minute, so I'll catch you around uh ..."

"Howler wolf"

She answered quickly

" Well howler I'm Jake Frankenstein, nice to meet you"

He replies nicely making howler happy as he waved then left inside. Howler soon forgot that she was late for her other classes. and hurried off once lunch came howler was sitting by herself at a table lost in thought until someone came and sat down across from her as she looked up it was clawdeen and her friends

"Hey howler, how do you like monster high now?"

Clawdeen asked as howler didn't want her to know that howleen was being mean, she forced a smile and told her sister that she loves the school but didn't make any friends, clawdeen told her after school is a basketball game and wanted her to see her brother clawd in action but of course, howler agreed.

After school howler sat in the front bleachers with her sister clawdeen and her friends, when she looked around to see if maybe howleen was around she saw her next to a ghoul with purple hair, once the game started howler was surprised to see the Frankenstein boy Jake also playing.

An hour later when the game was over clawdeen went to clawd to congratulate her brother on winning the game, and It seems that Clawd and the pink vampire are a couple like clawdeen told her a long time ago. Howler felt like a third wheel around everyone and decided to quietly leave the gym.

"Hey, wait!"

A voice called out to her as she stops and turned and saw Jake

" Hi, Jake"

" What, you're not going to praise me on winning?"

" Oh, sorry um, you did great"

"Is somthing wrong?"

He asked as he walked over to her kneeling down to her level

" Uh, no, I just feel tired is all"

She said trying to avoid his green eyes

"You're lying"

" What, no I'm not!"

" Look, I won't force you to tell me, but just know you don't have to let whatever that is bugging you take you down. whenever you need to talk just find me, which won't be hard"

"Uh, yeah, thanks"

Jake smiled and walks back to the gym
