After Parkinson finally left I sighed and helped Draco off of the floor. He smiled at me. We set off back to our dorm. As we where walking to our dorms my head started to pound. I held my head in my right hand as I stumbled on my footing and moments later my headache turned into a migraine. I knew the cause. I had read about it in a book on Vampire mating.
If a vampire is with their mate and beginning to get intimate with their mate they will often experience light headaches. However, if the vampire has taken blood from their mate and given their mate blood, the headache will be much stronger.
This is because not only are you have intimate connections but biological too. This means that the need to mate will be stronger.
Once the headaches have begun the vampire will slowly begin to die.
The mating process changes and is not officially documented as vampires and their mates feel as if it is an invasion on their mates. And the need to protect their mates is very easily triggered even by a simple question.
The migraine occurrence shows that the vampire had six weeks to bond with their mate before the desiccate and die a slow and painful death. To postpone this the vampire will have to drink blood from the vein once a day until their mate is ready. If the blood is drunk from the first day of the migraine once the vampire stops drinking everyday they will have six weeks overall left to live.
As I remembered I passed out in Draco's arms hearing him yell my name demanding me not to close my eyes but I couldn't help it as the darkness absorbed me.
A/N I'm probably only going to do two more chapters after this because I'm running out of ideas. Please leave a comment on any of these chapters including this one as an idea. Please don't be a ghost reader. And thank you for 2.4K readers!
