ethan was awoken from his slumber by a very giggly josh. he knew he had fallen asleep early, having been tired from all the socialising he had done and also having been at school for the whole week- something he had never done before. josh did nothing but giggle, climbing into bed with ethan calmly. "everyone's gone home, tobis in his room. i forgot i was sharing a room tonight and i forgot to put the stuff down for the extra bed on the floor"
"its fine, you can still sleep in your bed. there's enough room for you in here too." was ethan's response, receiving a small smile as he watched josh get comfortable and then close his eyes. ethan shut his eyes too, hearing a small giggle next to him
"im glad we are friends ethan" josh mumbled after a few minutes of silence "i only have tobi, and sometimes when he is with others i feel alone. im glad you are in my life. im glad we are friends" it was quiet and ethan didnt hear it because he was fast asleep already, completely exhausted, but josh felt a little happier knowing that he had said something at least
