~Keith's P.O.V.

I walked into the schoolyard, relieved. It was the last day of Senior Year, wich meant after today I would be done with high school. Pidge met me at the entrance of the school. "Did you get accepted into any colleges?" She asked me in an anxious voice. "Not yet, how 'bout you?" I asked her, knowing she probably got accepted. "Yup, Harvard" she replied calmly.

I stopped walking "Harvard!? You aren't exited?!?" I shook her shoulders. She pulled away from me "woah, calm yourself Keith. I figured I'd get accepted with my level of intelligence" she said, smiling. I laughed and kept walking before we reached the bench we always sit on. I pulled out my math book and started to do my homework that is due today.

"Heyyy Keith" a familiar voice said. I rolled my eyes and looked up. Standing there was Lance, the annoying guy who never leaves me alone. "Did you do the homework?" He asked, glancing at my book. "I'm doing it now" I said, clearly annoyed. "Can you help me wi-" he started. "Go ask someone else" I interrupted. "Okie dokie" he spun around and walked away. "Dork" I mumbled.

The bell for 1st period rang, wich me and Pidge had together. We walked together towards Science.  Mr. Lotor was the worst, most annoying teacher in the school. I sat down in my seat as soon as the teacher walked in. "GOOD MORNING" He yelled to get the class's attention. Pidge jumped and put her laptop away.

Mr. Lotor started his lesson, but like usual, I dozed off during the beginning. Pidge tapped her pencil on my desk to snap me back into reality. When I started paying attention, the teacher was already half way through the lesson.

"And Keith" he paused to look back at me. "Could you tell me about how many pieces of space debris there is?" He squinted, knowing I wasn't paying attention.  "Uhh, 500,000 pieces" I replied, hoping it was correct. His eyes widened slightly and he nodded. "Now let's talk about the bigge-" everything said after that was blacked out. I can't help but doze off in that class.

I jumped at the sound of the bell. Pidge held in a laugh and waited for me by the door. "How do you get to doors so fast?" I asked, speed walking to the door. She shrugged her shoulders and led me to her locker. "Yo! Keith!" Lance yelled while running towards me. His friend was slowly running behind him. I sighed and waited for Lance to come attack me with words.

"Me and Hunk are having coffee after school" he glanced at Pidge. "We could double date" Lance offered. "No" I turned back to Pidge. "Come oooon" he whined. "I'm not gay" I told Lance. He laughed and leaned against the locker kind of cutely. "Not a double date then, as friends" he tried. Pidge slammed her locker shut "yes Lance! We. Will. Go." She said through gritted teeth. "yessss" he whispered as he walked away with Hunk.

"Really" I looked at Pidge with a death stare. "Maybe he'll leave you alone" she guessed. I just rolled my eyes and walked to 2nd period, the only class me and Pidge have apart. It's also one of the only classes that me and Lance have together. Mr. Shiro smiled to me as I walked in the class. I smiled back at him sarcastically.

Don't get me wrong, Shiro's great, but he's too nice. He let's Lance get away with whatever he wants. I sat in my seat right behind Lance. Soon after, Lance walked in and smiled to me. I started to smile but then looked away. He came and sat backwards in his seat to face me. "So, it's a date?" Lance asked. "No Lance, I said I'm not gay and it's not a date" I replied. He winked and turned around in his seat.

I hid my face in my hoodie and attempted to finish my math homework. "Could everyone turn in thier homework please" Mr. Shiro told us. I cursed under my breath and hurried to finish the last 3 questions. "I'll take your homework up" Lance offered. "No I can do it" I denied him. He took my paper up anyways and put it with his. I held back a smile and just rolled my eyes.

"You're welcome" Lance said before sitting back down. The teacher handed out classwork to all of us. Lance turned around towards me with a sheepish smile. "I need a pencil" he asked. "Why do you have to ask me?" I said without looking up at him. "Because, you're the first one I thought of" he told me. I looked up to him for a second and then leaned down to my bag. "Here" I handed him a dull pencil. He scoffed and accepted it.

Mr. Shiro collected our papers and called me up to his desk. I walked up anxiously, thinking of what I could have done wrong. "One of our students is having trouble with math, he keeps failing tests and skipping homework" he said to me. "I'd like to know if you'd tutor him" Shiro asked me. "Of course! Who is it?" I asked him. "Lance McClain" he told me while marking problems wrong on his homework.

I tried not to get angry and just be reasonable. "Why did you think I was good for this?" I asked as politely as possible. "Well, you're the top students of my 2nd period class" he told me. I nodded and walked back to my seat. Lance turned around to be nosy. "What was that" he asked, tapping my head.

I smacked his hand away "Mr. Shiro wants me to tutor you" I told him angrily. "Sucks for you" he laughed and turned back around. Lance sat on his desk and continued his work. "Lance, please take a seat" the teacher said. "Okay" Lance said, picking up the chair. "I mean sit down" Mr. Shiro said. Lance sat on the ground with the chair. He sighed "I let you get away with too much" the teacher turned around and continued teaching.

He didn't bother me much for the rest of the class. He's probably saving it for the coffee shop after school. The bell rang for 3d period, wich was art class. Me, Lance, and Pidge had this class together. Mrs. Allura waved and smiled to all of us as we sat on our art stools. "Hello Class" she said to us with a big smile. Lance found Mrs. Allura attractive, wich we all thought was wierd.

"Since it's the last day of school, do a freestyle paint" she handed out paint and paint brushes. "It's watercolor paint, so make sure you get the brush wet" she told the class. "Girl, you already got my paint brush w-" Lance almost said. "Lance!" I stopped him from being an idiot.

I glanced over at Pidge's canvas to see her painting a galaxy. When I looked at Lance's canvas I saw him painting Allura. I was painting a sunset over an ocean.
Allura walked past us complimenting our paintings until she came to Lance. "Th-thats very nice" she hurried past him to Hunk's painting. Lance caught me giggle and smiled cutely. After seeing him, I pulled a straight face and continued.

Principal Alfor's voice came over the speaker. "Hello students! I apologise for interrupting your learning" he paused. "Unfortunately I'll have to let out school early! Everyone have a good summer" he turned off the intercom. Lance tried to grab my hand but I pulled away to walk with Pidge.
