June 1967

There was a knock on the door and Timothy sighed, aggravated. This was the 20th knock in the past half hour.

"Come in." He said hatefully.

"Hi." Jude poked her head in and Timothy instantly perked up.

"There's my beautiful mother superior."

"Timothy we have a problem." She said as she locked the door.

He instantly walked to her as he saw the tears in her eyes.

"Are you okay?"

"No I'm not."

"Well what's wrong?"

Jude unbuttoned her habit to reveal a small bump.

"Is tha-?"

"Yes Timothy it's a baby." She said dejectedly.

"This is wonderful baby!" He said smiling brightly.

"No it isn't Timothy!"

"Why not?"

"How arrogant could you be? This is going to ruin our careers!"

"We'll figure something out, somehow."

She smacked him and growled.

"This is your fault!"

"My fault?! I correctly remember you begging me!"

"Goddamn you!" She cried out.

Both their heads jerked to the sound of knocking and Jude began buttoning her habit up and hid under Timothy's desk.

"Everything okay sir?" The man stepped in.

"I'm fine. Thank you." The door shut and Jude got up and smacked him again before leaving.
