PHOBOS 5 [SPECIAL]

Why Special? The memories were especially special, at least to me.

A throwback to my craziest and happiest moments of my life. Now that life has forced us to separate into our own ways, I want to thank every one of you for the countless FTW times we shared. Never had I experienced a bond so strong and a friendship so pure.

Junior College was a nightmare to many who chose this path, but it was pure heaven to me, because of the strength we gave one another and the fact that we were all so good at escaping reality and stress.

To 14S301:

We are one HELL of a class! I remembered our tutors commenting on the chemistry of the class, something they said was hard to put into words but readily felt. I REALLY felt it and I felt it hard.

We loved hanging out in the student lounge (self-declaring it as our class territory) and the various lecture theatres, and did EVERYTHING together as a class- representing Phobos in all the cheerleading competitions, eating together EVERY recess and lunchbreaks, being late for almost everything and even going to the toilet together. Can you imagine that?

Oh and must I say, getting Bs for PW because we were watching too much movies and singing too much Karaoke using the sound system in our LTs instead of working in the classroom as allocated.

And and and! Playing block-catching and HideNSeek in school and the random HDB flats were so fun, minus all the judging we got from the seniors and teachers, and the occasional scoldings from the residents.

I totally miss the massive debates that drove Ms Teong crazy every bio tutorial and the fact that we were all equally helpless in Chinese. We quickly made a statement of ourselves in school and relished in our popularity.

I know, we all are thick-skinned shameless bastards XD. People ask why we printed 'We Never Cheat' on our class T-shirt. And we can proudly tell them that we had cheated in almost every game during our orientation. But still ended up losing hahs!

To MEEP:

I love us sooooo much! I love it that we are all Naruto hard-cores and anime fanatics!

I love it that we are all shameless people who are not afraid to FTW as long as we had one another, especially when someone comes up with a totally random and crazy idea and the rest immediately latches on it.

I love the fact that we all have the guts to be different, and that includes self-declaring dress-down days on full-uniform days, and then scrambling for cover whenever we sight Mr Gohal from a distance.

I remembered all the stupid things we did in public and canteen. I'm surprised we weren't sent to the police for public nuisance!

And I love it too when you guys always make me feel so special every birthday. TBH, I didn't have an active social life due to my overbearing parents. And yet just by daily interactions, you guys could still understand me DEEP down, knowing and noticing even my slightest things and bringing out the best in me. 

I remembered that at the start, we weren't happy with where we were. I wanted Bio, Chem, Math and History. But the school could't open up this subject combi because honestly, no one wanted Bio and History together. Its either Bio+Econs, or Physics+History. I absolutely hated Physics, so i had to go with Econs. Xuan wanted 4 H2. QiMin transferred over from a physics class and Shaun was in Serangoon JC, desperately trying to get the fuck out of there, so he simply accepted the fist school that offered him a place, which was Meridian.

As for Wilson and Fenton, they were quite happy with where the school put them. And so, I thank Fate for helping us find each other. If we all got what we wanted, there would never be MEEP!

But good times will eventually come to an end. Now I can only look at the hundreds of photos we took, reminisce and move on. I swear these memories will always live on to infinity and I'll love all of you forever 'ttebayo!
