Stillness - drones the trilling of the fan,
The dragging of rubber on pavement;
Lazy groaning shriek of sirens.
Ringing - vibrato of crashing cicadas
Cymbals blaring, flights on nights
That titillate ere summer's brilliance.
Bury me.
In noise.
In silence.
Lurching breath with humid air.
Entwined - or sunken - within this thick flare.
