Dylan's POV

I walked back rather confidently to Emma's room and knocked three times on the cool wooden door. I was somewhat surprised when Megan opened it.

"Hey, you can come in, but Emma's in the shower and I'm on my way to Burger King," she said, beginning to walk down the hallway.

"Uh, alright. See you la–," I called to her, but before I could finish, she was around the corner.

I quietly shut the door and walked to the bed.

After 20 minutes of messing around on my phone, I finally heard the shower turn off. Jeez, girls take long showers.

Another 5 minutes passed, and the door opened.

Emma walked out, with steam trailing behind her, wrapped in a fluffy white towel, just long enough to cover her butt, and one on her head as well. Water droplets were sliding down her smooth, tan legs, and I could smell lavender coming from her.

When she saw me, she jumped, almost causing her towel to drop.

"Jesus Christ, Dylan!! What the hell are you doing here?" she tightened her towel.

"M-megan let me in; sorry," I said as I tried not to stare.

She huffed. "Its fine. You just scared me." Emma walked over to the dresser, picked out some clothes, and went back into the bathroom.

When she came back out, she was dressed in a white crop top with "SMILE" written on it that barely showed her tan stomach, and some shorts with the American Flag on them. Her hair was in a side braid and then she slipped on some red sneakers.

"So, wanna walk around the city?" she asked me, twirling the end of her braid. "I mean, I've got nothing else to do, but if you're busy its fine, really."

"Uh, no. No. I'm not busy at all. I'll just text Elliot."

"Okie, lemme tell my mom." Emma quickly walked out and was back with in a minute.

"She's cool with it, she even gave me 30 bucks. But we have to be back by like 3, so we have a few hours." Emma says as she slips the money into her bag, along with sunglasses and ChapStick.

Emma's POV

Dylan looked good in his red flannel. I said good. I'm not saying that he looked super hot, because the color was great on him, or it brought out his puppy dog brown eyes which made him even more irresistible. I just said he looked okay looking. Good.

Once we were on the streets, the fun began. I saw a few people taking pictures of us, or of Dylan, but I just tried to ignore them.

"So normally, I would suggest Starbucks, but twice in one day seems a bit excessive," he jokes.

"Let's just walk around and see where our feet take us," I say and Dylan chuckles. "What?" I elbowed him.

"Nothing, nothing. I'm sorry, it was just kinda cheesy," he laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, let's go in here," I joke as we come across an old lady-ish store.

"Em, don't be so quick to judge." he said with a wink. "C'mon, let's go in "
