Just a normal party..... part 2

Ciel's POV

Tonight was the dreaded party. Ugh. I didn't want to do this, but Her Majesty ordered me to. I even promised Mayu that I would escort her. What would the guests think when they saw me with her? More importantly, what would Lizzy think? Sebastian can't escort her! He's only a mere servant! I don't know why I agreed to that....

Sebastian led both Mayu and me down the stairs. All of the guests had arrived, except for the guest of honor, Georg Von Siemens. I expected that, since a storm has arrived.

"There is a guest at the door, yes there is!" Meirin chirped. She opened the front door, and, sure enough, there stood both Georg Von Siemens and Earl Charles Grey.

"Pleased to meet your acquaintance, I'm Georg Von Siemens. I am grateful for your invitation." He said politely. As if. I heard that he was a big drunk. Sebastian obviously wants his daughter protected, seeing as I had to send her axe to a blacksmith yesterday. She was crazy about that weapon.

"Thanks. Are the preparations for the party complete yet?" Earl Grey asked. He can see, can't he? Of course the preparations are complete!

"I'm deeply sorry to have delayed you."  Tch. Just wait until he gets som alcohol in him.

"Of course not, you have come from afar." I tried sounding as polite as possible. God, this is horrible. I hate socializing. "Let's exchange greetings once the party has started. For now, please chat freely at the buffet. This way please." Mayu and I led Earl Grey and Baron Siemens to the buffet, and, of course, she had her stupid bunny with her. I don't get her obsession with that thing at all. Lizzy says that it's cute, but I seriously don't know why she keeps that thing with her.

"Well then, I'll call out your names so please proceed to the dining room in order." Sebastian got out a small piece of paper and started calling out the names of the guests. They all proceeded to the dining room when their names were called. They all chitchated about drinking styles and whatnot, something I wasn't really fond of. I saw Len, his girlfriend Rin, and Mayu sitting with one of the guests that had gone completely unnoticed.

Mayu's POV

I was sitting next to a guest who claimed to be both an eye doctor and a writer. He seemed nice, and Mimi even said that he knew this person was good. I'm the only one that can hear Mimi. There was a chair open next to the guest, and Ciel asked if he could sit there. The guest just told him that he wouldn't mind, but that was before he realized it was Mr. Meanie pants. I call Ciel that because he is a big meanie and he took my axe yesterday. I'm going to have to take his cake during afternoon tea tomorrow!

They just chatted about random things, like if the guest, who said his name was Arthur, enjoyed the party. Grimbsy Keane suddenly cut into the conversation, so I got up and walked around when Baron Siemens came up to me and tried to, and I'm telling the truth, flirt with me. He was obviously drunk.

"Could you please stop that?!" I yelled. That got everyone's attention. I slapped him, he tried 'spilling' his drink on me, and Ciel intercepted it, getting alcohol all over him. 'So much for a sibling bond... thanks alot Len...' I thought. Daddy came with a towel, so I went back to where I was sitting earlier, obviously of no help. That's when I heard Daddy and Ciel talking in french. Arthur must've heard it too, because he perked up.
"So once that solemn man gets some alcohol into him, this is how he becomes?" Ciel asked,in french, of course, making a hand gesture that looked like he was holding something incredibly small. "From the looks of it, he's a repeat offender."
"Even so, showing how little self-constraint one has... I wonder whether he's an immense fool or whether he has no shame at all." That was definitely something that Daddy would say.
"Seems like the incurable type of guy that'd make a doctor hopeless." I don't know why, but both Arthur and I found that funny, so we started laughing. Ciel put one finger to his lips, which is something that Daddy does alot.
