Robin clutched his brown satchel to his chest as he walked down the corridor; Caitlyn had detached from their dynamic duo and gone to her art class. The hallway was crowded with every subculture of teenager that existed. Three new students had started that year.

Taylor Johnson: the boy with dyed black hair and streaky eyeliner around his eyes, he constantly wore a leather jacket-even in the hottest of temperatures-and listened to music that screamed hate to everything. He seemed unlovable and incapable to love anyone in return.

Emily May: the vintage girl who wore her grandmother's beige floral skirt with a white blouse tucked into it. A rugged, brown cardigan hugged her arms. Her beautiful ginger hair was curled constantly and she wore cat eyed glasses. She seemed rather too fond of love but didn't seem to receive it.

Cato Smith: the boy with blue headphones on and a Nike tracksuit, he had too many stories of nights with girls he'd forgotten. His hair was slapped with gel and sprayed with a bottle of hairspray. He didn't quite understand the term or concept of love.

They were all completely different people with one thing in common: loneliness.

There were so many stereotypes within the space of a corridor that Robin realised that everybody followed their own norms. Society did not have a harsh hold on teenagers like everyone wanted to believe, but either way everyone was an asshole at that damned school.

Robin felt the weight of the world on his shoulders, the people stared at him as if he were a satanic incarnate. He felt sick as the gaze of the jocks fell on him. His ex boyfriend was a jock. With sweat bearing down his temples, he walked quickly past them and rushed to the male toilets. He raced past the urinals and isolated himself inside a cubical. He held himself as tight as he could, fighting the fear that he would break his own ribs as tears rimmed his eyes.

He felt their presence before they spoke.

"The bathroom? Really, you little slut, could you not think of anywhere else?"

He held his breath as a huge bang clashed against his door, causing the whole cubical to shake harshly against the weak bolts. Robin shook softly, the vibration of the cubical rattling his insides. He panicked. He was frozen with fear. The hairs on his arms rose with the tension that strangled him. He tried to think of someone he could call-anyone he could call.

But who would care?

"Get out here before I kick the fucking door in!"

Robin remained in his solitary silence until the world around him calmed. He slid the lock to the door open and stepped out. The world around him blurred as a hard blow threw him to the floor. The pain ravenously grew in his body as his tender flesh was punched and kicked. His stomach twisted under the violence as he tasted the coppery vomit in his mouth. The laughter of the boys masked his screams of agony. Their sniggers only climaxed as a sharp plunge in Robin's bladder caused his bodily fluids to leak over his trousers.

He felt humiliated. Targeted. Alone.

"Hey!"

Was all Robin heard as the blows suddenly stopped. His depleted body couldn't move. He was turned onto his side and all he could see through the blinding light were sharp spikes of dyed black hair and a pair of blue headphones. He sunk in an abyss of darkness. He was left there, yet again to wallow in the only thing he knew: loneliness.
