I landed on the window sill of Crystal's bedroom and tapped my muzzle against it to make a soft thudding sound. The room was suddenly illuminated and Crystal appeared in the window. She leaned against the wall, crossed her arms, and glared at me. Her wyvern flew to her shoulder, and they both yawned, making the glare not so scary.

"This better be good," she said, her voice muffled by the glass. "And you better not be running for your life."

"Or you'll say I told you so?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

She nodded firmly.

I shook my head with a smile on my scaly lips. "I promise you can't say that. I was only bored and just want to talk to my other favorite demon, besides myself." I grinned, showing I was just joking. But it made me look like I was about to gleefully murder someone.

Ah, dragon problems.

"I also have problems sleeping." I shyly redirected my gaze to the ground four stories below us.

She groaned and visibly rolled her eyes, but still opened the window. "You know, not everyone has that problem."

"You know what else, you're just the brightest ray of sunshine I dare say I ever saw." I took on a bit of a Southern accent to try and make Crystal smile or laugh, or both, but it just ended up sounding wrong. It sounded like a Southern dog trying to impersonate his mistress, and failing greatly.

Honestly, it was a hard to explain mess.

She continued to stare at me, her lips pursed tightly together. Then she sighed. "Sorry. There just isn't much to do at night in this world except going to nightclubs. That gets old after a while."

I nodded. "I understand." I hopped down to the floor, barely opening my wings to slow my decent and land gracefully. I then morphed into my human form. I crouched for a moment to make sure the change was complete before standing. If I hadn't done that small thing and moved while I was still morphing, it would have felt weird as hell and extremely uncomfortable, almost to the point pain.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" she asked, getting straight to the point. She went and sat on the bed and Shadownight followed her with an easy, short glide. Then, the wyvern curled up in the sheets beside her.

"Well, first off, Noche's not really a cat... Or a girl, for that matter," I began.

Crystal's jaw went slack. "What? But you..." She trailed off.

"Yeah, or so I thought. But there wasn't anything to spay.

"Anyhow, Dante found out that I am a demon, and suddenly, this human looking boy was protecting me-"

"Whoa! Hold up!" She held up her hands in a stop gesture. "How does Dante know?"

"Ah, right. This was an extremely eventful day. Mind if I take a seat?"

"Yes! Of course! Please do!" She said. She looked like she was about to explode with her pent up curiosity.

So I took a seat on the bed next to her, opposite of where Shadownight was curled up. I told Crystal and Shadownight, who watched me with a single blood red and sapphire blue eye and twitched his ear flap every now and then. They listened closely, until Crystal gasped and Shadownight looked at me with both of her unique eyes and I couldn't help but stare at them for a bit. They were so unique and interesting. The red and the blue were both vibrant and very present, but never mixed into purple, and swirled like a-

"He knows?" Crystal questioned, breaking me away from my thoughts.

I nodded. "Yes, but not completely my fault. And he doesn't know about you."
