Kathy's pov

Everyone except Josie, Ruby, and the Andrews came. Jerry was begging me not to tell and Ruby was being a brat and decided not to come.

"So, long story short, they started dating because they couldn't get over their crushes." Jerry slapped his palm on his forehead.

Everyone was shocked. "Jerry had a crush?" Diana yelled. Jerry stood up and went to get water because for some reason, he had to 'cool off'.

"Well Jerry got over his crush but Ruby didn't. I mean I'm pretty sure all the girls in the gang like Gilbert at least once. I did too, but I think realistically. After Anne moved, we knew all his attention was toward Anne." I took sip of the tea I was drinking. Gil's face got red, we just acted like we didn't notice.

"Who did Jerry even like anyway" Anne asked and I chuckled.

"Jerry liked you, you idiot" everyone's jaws dropped.

"Well, Jerry did know you even before he came to school" charlie said. Anne looked like she was processing everything in her head. I could imagine what here brain is like rn, it's like that one scene in sponge bob where his brain is on fire and all the little sponge bobs in his brain was freaking out.

"Makes sense to be honest," Ian said, "I mean they started dating like after a week Anne and Gilbert got together."

Gilbert is probably trying to process everything, I mean sometimes we even forget that he forgot everything! (A/n that meaning I forgot that he forgot... :) Hahaha...)

"So Ruby liked me and Jerry liked Anne but we started dating. Right? So why not Anne date Jerry for a week and I date Ruby for a week?" Gilbert said. I thought I would never say this... but Gilbert is STUPID.

"Why not?" Anne said, we both looked at them like they were crazy.

"I mean shirbert is still a thing. We can stop if we want, it's just for a week" gil said.

"What if Ruby gets clingy even after the week?" Cole said and that was a good question.

"I mean Ruby did do some crazy stuff before you guys started dating" I said.

"Like what?" Gilbert asked.

"When she found out that you liked Anne in 7th grade she cried the whole school day and didn't come to school for 3 days" Ian said.

"Oh, remember in 5th grade when I recently moved and when Gil came back, she told me to not talk to gil because she had dibs on him. That's why I didn't talk to you until 7th grade." Gilbert was really trying to process everything.

Anne and Gil brought Jerry back in and face times Ruby.

Ruby seemed really excited which kind of scared Gil and Jerry stayed quiet. Anne put her head on Jerry's shoulder. I mean Jerry and Anne was used to it because they've been doing this since they were in elementary school.

Anne could feel the gaze from Gilbert. "Starting right now?" Gil asked.

"Oh I thought we were" Anne said.

"You are quite enjoying this aren't you?" Gil said.

"I mean I'm comfortable with Jerry" She said. Gil took a deep breath and said, "starting tomorrow"
