Fay's POV
I was falling for Kian. I know I shouldn't be, but a person can't control those type of feelings. I'm such an idiot. Falling for my fake boyfriend is so cliche. I feel like I'm in a fan fiction or something. But I couldn't resist the feelings. He was perfect.
Everyday that he stayed here was a struggle. I just wanted him to wrap his arms around me and sweep me off my feet. But I knew to him I was just a friend, and it hurt.
I shook the thought out of my head as I walked to my closet. I was up at 6 am, again. I always woke up thinking about him. I'm not sure if I was in love, but there was some sort of strong connection to him. I continued into my walk in closet and looked at my choices for today. I didn't really have to worry about getting all fancy since the guys and I were going to just hang out and go to the park. And that wouldn't even be until around noon when they usually got up. I didn't even bother to get dressed in normal clothes. I grabbed an extremely large blue flannel that went to mid thigh when on and put it on. I put a pair of spandex on and headed to my bathroom. I put on my everyday makeup. Although this was my apartment and it was 6 am, I had the guy I was extremely interested staying here, and wanted to look presentable. I'm a model, but we all have our flaws. I don't want him to know one of mine is my extremely bad skin. I put some sea salt spray in my hair to make it wavy, and headed downstairs.
I quietly passed Ricky and Kian's room because the door was opened. I glanced in to see only one figure sleeping, and it looked like Ricky. Where could Kian be? He's never up this early.
I continued down the hall and down the stairs. I went into the kitchen and began making myself some coffee. I saw my housekeeper enter the kitchen door.
"Hi Laurie." I said, smiling. I had a good relationship with Laurie. She was a good family friend who lost her job as a house keeper back in Washington, and I suggested she come out here and work around my apartment. I'm not really that messy, but I could use some assistance. She works only around 5 hours a day, from 7am-12pm. I pay her very well because she's a wonderful person.
"Hello Faith. Troubles sleeping again?" she asked as she set her purse in the closet.
"Yep." I sighed. "Can I ask you something, Laurie?"
"Of course dear. Anything."
"Have you ever fallen for someone so hard that they're all you can think about?" I asked her.
She smiled. "Yes. I was so head over heels in love with him, and he felt the same way. We dated for around 2 years, and then we had a falling out, and he left."
"I'm so sorry. How did you know he felt the same way?"
"It's the little things. If he goes out his way to make you happy, and wants to get to know everything about you, he's smitten." she sighed. "Well, I should start getting the living room around because I know those silly little boys trashed it!" And with that, she walked out the door.
My head quickly looked up as I heard the kitchen door open. I saw Kian standing there with a bag of bagels and two coffees.
"K-kian? Why are you up so early?" I stuttered. Smooth, Faith.
"I know that you've been getting up early for the past few days, and I thought I should bring you some coffee and breakfast. I wanted it to be a surprise and have the food all set up before you came in, but it's ruined." he laughed.
He set down the bagels on the table and handed me one. I smiled at him as I got up and put it in the toaster. He handed me his too and I put that in as well.
"So why have you been getting up so early?" he asked as he sipped his coffee.
"Oh you know...just some troubles sleeping." I said, awkwardly twirling my hair.
"But why the troubles sleeping? Is it knowing that you have 6 bad ass guys staying in your house? And that one is just so attractive you can barely handle yourself?" he joked.
"Oh yes, Connor's just too cute." I laughed.
"I was talking about me idiot." he chuckled. "Seriously though. There has to be a reason why you can't sleep."
"I think it's just nerves about everything in life." I half-lied as I took out the bagels. I spread some Nutella on them and sat down at the table across from Kian.
"What is there to be nervous about? You have an apartment, you have an amazing boyfriend, and pretty rad job. Your life is kind of perfect." He sighed.
"Don't forget that you're not really my boyfriend." I laughed. "But it's not that perfect. I have a lot of flaws that you don't know about."
"I'd like to though." he said. "You fascinate me Faith. In the media, you're just this pretty face who is a super nice person. But in real life you're kind of a secretive girl who I bet is a bad ass. I need to get to know you Fay."
"You do know me." I stated.
"I mean like truly know you. I want to know all your flaws and just everything about you. If we're going to be fake boyfriend and girlfriend, we have to make this shit believable."
"Fine. Just promise me this." I said.
"Anything."
"I have to get to know your flaws. Every single one of them. You have a bad boy persona but I bet deep down you're a big old teddy bear." I smirked.
"Deal." he said, throwing back his hands. "Starting now. Tell me a flaw or a secret you have. We'll start simple and build our way up. One fact a day until we're exposed."
"That works." I said. "A flaw that I have is that I can't exactly sing."
"Let me hear you." he demanded playfully.
"No! I have to hear yours first. And you can't copy mine because that would be really lame."
"Fine! You'll sing for me eventually!" he laughed. "But a secret that I haven't told anyone is that I've never actually kissed anyone."
"Woah. You've seriously never had your first kiss?" I said in shock.
"Wait, is that a bad thing?" he said in a panicked tone.
"Not at all! I think it's fine, considering I haven't had mine either."
"One secret a day Faith!" Kian shouted.
"Shh!" I whispered harshly. "The guys are sleeping. We don't want to wake the beasts."
"Oh right." he chuckled. "My bad."
I glanced at him. Laurie said if a guy wants to know everything about you, and goes out of his way to make you happy, he's smitten. Kian woke up around 7 am to get me bagels, even though he doesn't wake up until noon usually, and he wants to know every little detail of me. Could Kian feel the same way that I feel for him? The only way I could find out is to ask him. And I sure as hell couldn't do that. Maybe this little secret a day thing could expose that on it's own.
