Fay's POV

"That's a wrap! You guys are welcome to keep the clothes as always, and have a lovely day!" the photographer shouted over the loud music.

I hopped off of the ground and ran to change out of my swimsuit. I hated being in a bikini for longer than necessary. I quickly put on the sequined gold top and white jeans from earlier and ran out to see my manager talking to Austin. I stopped and hid behind a wall, trying to over hear their conversation.

"Good work today Austin. Thanks for 'flirting' with Faith. She's been having issues with her smile lately, so it was helpful." she said to him.

"Oh no problem. She's a nice girl, but definitely not my type. She's too awkwardly shaped. How did she get into modeling anyways?" Austin laughed.

"I have no idea. Her body type is not great for swimwear, so I'm trying to give her less of that." she laughed back. I stepped out from behind the wall, with tears forming in my eyes.

"I see how it is. Well, Trisha, you're fired, and Austin, fuck you." I said, trying to hold back the tears until I got outside. I raced out the doors with Trisha screaming after me.

I didn't bother to look around me as I ran. How could they say that? How could he lie to me? I guess he's not the sweetest guy in the world like everyone says he is. I was so defeated. I knew my smile hadn't been good lately, but that's because I've been over worked.

I wasn't thinking of anything else until I heard someone scream "Look out!". I turned to see a boy on a skateboard approaching me. I tried to move as fast as I could, but it was no use. The boy toppled in to me. I let out a small groan at the pain of my face scraping against the sidewalk.

"I'm so sorry." the boy said as he lifted himself off of me. "But you should really watch where you're going."

I turned around to see the boy holding out his hand to me. I graciously took it as he lifted me up.

"You should watch where you're going! You're the one that bumped into me!" I laughed. I stared at the boy. His brown hair was perfectly lifted up into a quiff, and his arms were covered in tattoos.

"Oh my god. You're Fay Sumners. I've seen you in commercials!" he said.

"Yeah, that's me." I said awkwardly. I'd never got quite used to being noticed.

"I'm Kian." He stretched his hand out again, but this time for me to shake it.

"Nice to meet you." I said. I heard pounding footsteps coming my way. I whipped my head to see Austin running towards me.

"If you don't mind, would you please run with me for safety reasons?" I begged Kian, gesturing towards Austin. He nodded and we ran off to the direction he had come from.

"Why are you running from him exactly? Isn't that Austin Esten? Isn't he one of your model friends?" He asked as we turned a corner.

"Not really." I glanced at a small bookstore. "Let's go in here."

We ran in the bookstore and hid behind a shelf.

"What do you mean not really?" He asked.

"Well you see, I had the biggest crush on him, and we were flirting back and forth today, but it was all set up by my manager, and then he insulted my modeling. I don't know why he's chasing me." I sighed. I heard the door open and I instantly tensed up. I glanced around to see Austin standing at the door.

"Fay." he shouted.

"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit." I whispered under my breath.

"There you are Fay. I've been looking for you. Can't be without my girlfriend!" He said as he approached Kian and I. Kian glanced back at me and mouthed, "Girlfriend?". I shook my head.

"What are you talking about Austin?" I asked.

"Pipe down pipsqueak." Austin whispered harshly. He pulled me off the ground and dragged me towards the door. I glanced back at Kian and motioned for him to come with me.

"Your manager put up everywhere that we're in a relationship now." he said when we were outside the bookstore. "I don't like you, and you don't like me, but it's all for publicity. So we can't have you running around with this street scum." he motioned to Kian.

"Excuse you?" Kian yelled.

"Hey!" I yelled. "I'm not going to be your girlfriend. In case you didn't hear, I fired my manager, so fuck her. Also, he's not street scum. I don't even really know him, but he's definitely not scum. So back off."

I started turning away but Austin grabbed my arm.

"You're going to be my girlfriend if you want to keep your modeling career." he shouted as I walked towards a leaving Kian.

"There are tons of managers and agents that would want me, so I think I'm good." I screamed back at him. I couldn't believe I was obsessed with this guy, and it all went away in just a second. I jogged to catch up to Kian.

"Kian!" I yelled at him as I did an awkward half run, half walk across the street. "Kian stop walking away."

"What?" he said, turning around.

"Stop walking away!" I laughed.

"We don't even know each other." He chuckled, shaking his head slightly.

"Well, we could get to know each other." I suggested.

"Why would a famous model like you, want to hang out with 'street scum' like me?" he joked.

"You seem pretty cool though." I shrugged. "I don't have many friends in New York, so I thought I'd give it a chance."

"I can introduce you to my friends, after we get to know each other. I don't usually do this, but do you want to go get coffee?" he asked.

I stifled my huge smile and nodded. We walked off towards the closest shop.

(A.N. HEY! I'm so sorry that it took forever! Tell me in the comments how I could do better, and what I did right! Love y'all!!)
