An Angel and Her Hero (Silvaze) Sonic the Hedgehog

Ceremony

Silver ran to the gathering chamber as fast as he could. Sonic looked at him with shock. "Silver! Where have you been!" He yelled. "Sorry, sorry! Slept later than I thought!" He responded, and ran up to the soldier line. Then the captain walked in.

"Good morning gentlemen. You have all prepared for this day. Let's show this assassin who is the Acorn Kingdom!" He yelled with happiness. Everyone cheered and yelled. There were eight guards in the right of the line, then on the far left were Silver and Sonic.

"Soldiers! Salute!... At ease. All royal soldiers to your positions!" "Yessir!" The soldiers yelled. They ran out of the room. Silver and Sonic stood there in front of the captain still. "You two, there are special spots for you. The chamber where the princess will be getting ready, has no windows. So you will wait outside the door with your weapons ready. Am I clear?"

"Understood sir." Sonic replied.

"When Queen Sally walks onto that balcony, in the queens quarters, that's where you'll stand by the window, with your AR Glasses. They will be able to see up to two miles away. You are dismissed to your positions." Sonic and Silver walked out of the room, and to the hallway, where they saw Blaze standing.

Silver's heart dropped. He slowly walked over to her. She looked up into his eyes with sorrow. "Blaze... I- she kissed him and cut him off. "Just please... Be careful." She smiled with tears. He hugged her tight, and rushed down the hall with Sonic. They ran to the princess chamber, and stood on opposite sides of the door. "Silver."

"What is it Sonic?" 

"I'm sorry how we got into this..."

"You didn't have anything to do with it. Why are you sorry?"

"... I actually had the choice. I'm the one who picked you.. And the only reason is, because we don't see you as much. And I thought this would be a good way to chill again... Like old times..." Sonic said. He put his head down in anguish. Silver actually wasn't mad anymore.

"It's okay Sonic. If it were Blaze up there, I'd probably do the same thing." He put his hand on Sonic's shoulder. They both smiled at each other, then the double doors opened. "Sonic!" Sally ran up ad hugged him. "Sally, you look... Beautiful." Sonic blushed. "Queen Sally? We need to get going." Said the soldier that walked out.

Sonic and Silver were in front besides each other, and behind them was Sally, then behind her was the other soldier. "Glasses on." Both boys heard on their earpieces. They put their glasses on, and on the screens they said "turn on." Everything was outlined in a blue glow. Even in the daylight.

They walked to the massive balcony, that could fit atleast ten people. The captain got on the mic. "People of, the Acorn Kingdom. Please welcome your new queen, Queen Sally!" The whole kingdom cheered. Sally got on the mic. "Thank you so much people of Acorn. But I can't do this without these two special men in my life. Silver, and Sonic the hedgehogs." She have a hand sway to the two. Everyone cheered loudly. Blaze was looking at Silver, and even she was smiling. The boys gave a smile and a wave.

"Everything is ready Captain. Are you ready for this?" Lynx heard over his earpiece.

"*sigh* continue as planned."

"Excellent. I have sights on the two hedgehog guards. Fire on my cue."

"All right..."

"This is a huge honor for me! Thank you all so much for allowing me as your new queen!" Sally yelled in happiness.

"Fire!" Scourge said in the mic piece. Lynx drawled his gun out quickly, and began firing at the guards in the balcony. Screams filled the castle gates, where the massive crowd was. That's when he aimed at the queen, and fired.
