Scotts POV:

After leaving Mason's house I dump my stuff at my cousins house and go to school. I'm way to late to actually learn anything but I may as well go.

Running through the school I manage to make it to my English class halfway through. I sneak in and sit down but Mrs. Morgan sees me and yells about being late. I simple roll my eyes and sit down next to mark. He gives me a weird look and shuffles over. What did I do now? The bell rings after five minuets and the room filers out. I get given another detention before I leave. Once I'm out of the room I decide to go to the toilets to sort myself out. With my shoulders back and chin up I stride through the school and into the bathroom, some 9th graders are sitting on the sinks talking but the second they see me they leave laughing about something. I roll my eyes and look at myself I the mirror.
My eyes are slightly red from lack of sleep and my hair is a mess. I wet my hands and sort my hair, then splash my face with water and prod at some pimples on my chin, popping them and what was that? Someone sniffles from a stall. I'm not alone? I turn around and crouch down to see under the door, finding the one with the sniffling boy in I realize it's the same boy that got beat up yesterday. He's sitting in the lid of the seat hugging his knees and examining his arms. Omg.

The boy looks down at the door and sees me, panicking he falls of the toilet seat with a crash and swears loudly. "What the fuck are you doing! Omg get away! Fucking shit!" He yelps. I jump up and fiddle with the door lock before getting it open and walking in. The boy looks up at me as I offer my hand to help him up. Slowly he reaches up and takes it. I pull him up with a lot less effort then I thought I would need, causing him to fall into me. I pull away quickly and grab his arm, it's covered in burn blisters and cuts.

"Why'd you do this to yourself?" I ask concerned although it didn't sound it. I pull him out and make him sit on the sinks, then I lock the main door and start running the faucet. He has dirt in the blisters and they need to be cleaned.

"Feels better than emotions." He says, his face is completely neutral and unbothered. Making sure the temperature isn't to cold or hot I slowly pull his arms under the water. He winces in pain and tries to pull away.

"You need to keep them clean. Whenever you did these you didn't clean them properly, you could get an Infection." I mutter, gently rubbing his arm before letting his pull them out. I grab some paper towels and dab his sores dry, then rummage through my school bag. I always carry around a first aid kit. I'm training to be a nurse. Finally I find some bandages, tape and medical alcohol. I pour a little alcohol onto a cotton pad, "gonna hurt a little" I mutter as I dab his injuries. The boy sitting above me bites his lips and closes his eyes.

"Why are you doing this for me?" He asks quietly. I pull away with the alcohol and take out a roll of bandages.

"It's good training, plus you needed help or you'd get an infection and I couldn't live with that." I inform him as I wrap his arm with the white fabric bandage.  Once in satisfied I tape it up so that the bandage will stay and repeat on his left arm.

"If Matt saw you he would beat you up as well." The boy whispers watching my hands and they speedily tab the alcohol and wrap the bandage.

"Matt doesn't dare come near me. Im bigger and stronger than him. And he knows I have more people than him." I tell him as I finish the wrapping and lift him of the sink.

"Thank you... Uhm.."

"Scott."

"Thank you Scott. Wait Scott who?" The boy asks. I realize now he hasn't look directly at me once. I haven't been able to see the upper half of his face as his hood is pulled over it and he won't make eye contact. Strange.

"Scott Hoying. And you are Mitch Grassi I presume." I says, unlocking the door and following Mitch out.

"Y yes." He whispers, I can almost hear cogs turning in his head, what's he thinking about? "I have to go Uh Scott Hoying. Thanks again for the help." Mitch says and runs off. Rolling my eyes I wander round the school for a while.

That boy was too familiar. I have definitely seen him before and not just when he was beat up. I can't figure out where. He's probably served me at Starbucks at some point or something. Hm never mind.

I walk to my cousins house and climb In through the window, she's never home anymore and I lost my key. She said she was cool with me staying whenever though so it isn't trespassing or some shit. I get in and decide to raid the fridge, it's basically empty except for some cooked sausages and eggs. Guess I'm having sausages and eggs for dinner. Cooking up the eggs I search for something else to eat in the cupboards. Hm where would Becky put all her candy and chips? Right in the back so she can't reach so easily I bet. Reaching up to the top cupboard I look right at the back and see five bars of Hershey's and loads of chip packets. Perfect. I take out a bag of salt and vinegar chips and pour them onto a plate before taking my egg and placing it next to the chips and then two cold sausages. I take the half empty paper plate and sit on the couch putting on some Netflix show and digging in. Heh I just thought of a reference.

"Ill take a chip... AND EAT IT!" I tell, picking up a salt and vinegar chip and stuffing it in my mouth.

"Scott?" The voice makes me fall of the couch with a bang, it came from no where. I didn't even hear the door open! "What are you doing here?" I look up and see Becky standing there looking a mess, her hair is frizzy and her makeup smudged. She's been crying.

"I could ask you the same thing." I mutter getting up and swiping the egg of my leather jacket.

"It's my house... I live here?" Becky mutters seemingly confused herself about why she is here.

"You're supposed to be at college." I state very factually.

"I dropped out remember. I'm cool with you staying here by the way, just scared me because I didn't know you where here that's all. Kelly being a bitch again?" Becky says quickly, wiping her green eyes and yawning.

"Yeah she is. I didn't mean to scare you, I went to Mason's house but something happened and I had to leave, mind if I bunk on the couch for a couple nights until mom gets over it?"

"Sure. Just tidy up after yourself and make sure you aren't here from 10-12 pm if you could." Becky yawns and leaves. 10 through 12 at night? I wonder what she gets up to then? I'll just have to hang out with Mark at the skate park until I'm allowed home then.
