Just FYI: My favorite scenes to read is when the main characters go to theme parks, or carnivals, or in this case festivals. So if I get carried away, my bad.

When we finally pulled into a spot in the crowded 'parking lot', it was really just a field of grass that was organized in rows to fit cars. I pulled into a spot in between a cherry red Buick and a navy blue mini-van, and pulled the keys out of the ignition. I reached into the bag in my lap and pulled out my phone to text Austin that we were here when the rest of the girls piled out of the car.

He replied, Ok, we're to the left of the entrance :)

I texted back with a simple 'ok', and silently snorted to myself at his smiley face. Didn't expect Austin to be an emoji kind of guy. I guess people aren't really what they seem.

I took off my seatbelt and hopped out of the car joining the girls and we started walking towards the entrance. It wasn't long after we got out of the parking lot to spot them, a mass of really hunky guys? We don't get that everyday in Eunice.

As we walked up to the group my chest tightened a bit when I spotted a head full of long black waves, and long brown legs. It was Briana Truett, and she had her hand around Austin's waist smiling and giggling up at him. Why was she here? I thought it was just the guys. My eyes landed on two blonde bimbos just as quickly as I spotted Briana. The Harris twins.

The Harris twins were Briana's "minions" as Ashley likes to call them, they always hung out together, where ever Briana went, they went. Lindsay, the one who always wore pink, was whispering something into Chase's ear that made him smile and made me cringe just looking at them. And Lizzie the meaner one was standing next to Lindsay, examining her cuticles like she was ready to bite somebody's head off out of boredom.

I made a mental note to stay away from all three of them, I was not in the mood for girl drama. But it did annoy me how touchy-feely Briana was with Austin.

"What the hell are they doing here?" Darcey snapped when we started approaching closer to the group.

"Don't know." I said bluntly, trying to hide my jealousy.

When we eventually got through the crowd of teens, preteens and children with they're parents in the line, Austin and Chase took notice and waved us over.

"Hey guys!" Chase said cheerfully, "What took you so long?"

"Got stuck in a little traffic." Darcey said sarcastically, motioning to the crowd of people in the line waiting for their tickets. Darcey wasn't one to get flustered easily, unlike the rest of us, she was pretty confident.

"Yeah, hey." I piped in, trying not to sound super awkward. "So did you get your tickets yet?"

"No, we were waiting for you to show up." Chase locked his eyes on mine, and I blushed hard. It felt like a millenium went by before I awkwardly looked away and to the ground.

"Yeah, Chase wanted to be all gentlemen-y." Austin said rolling his eyes, finally breaking the awkward tension.

"You should try it some time." I smiled sarcastically, looking up at Austin noticing Briana's arm still around him. Ok, maybe I was being a little bitter.

"Ouch! And to think we were starting to get along Neighbor." He put his hand over his chest in mock hurt and jutted out his bottom lip, making puppy dog eyes. Ugghh why does he have to be so damn cute! I hate him and his stupid attractiveness.

I just rolled my eyes and looked back over to my friends, Kayla who had been awkwardly fiddling with the hem of her dress met my eyes, "We should go get our tickets, yeah?" She replied with a nod.
