Hadrian didn't know how to feel at that moment. Angry that Draco went to his dad, confused that he could hear them, or happy that he had someone who was worried about him. He just wanted some time to think and read without it being so loud, he could go to the library but he liked to sit sideways in the big chair in the corner of the common room, it was the darkest place in the common room where you could still get enough light to see. "Why did he have to tell Dad? Well he should be here any second so what should I do?" Once he got his idea Severus came in. "Hello Dad."
"Hadrian, I got an interesting fire call from McGonagall today."
"About what did I do something wrong?"
"No calm down, it was about your needle. She showed me, it was very unique."
"She said she likes to keep the needles of the students that are special. I wanted to show you but she asked and I thought might as well."
"Well I saw it after all and I am very proud of you. Also why did you leave dinner early? Did something happen?"
"No, just needed a quiet place to think. You know it's alway way to loud and not in a good way. Plus a friend is coming by ant minuet."
"Who?" Just as the question left Severus' mouth William tapped on the glass to indacate that his was there. "Who is this Hadrian?"
"This is WIlliam, he is around my age. Will this if my dad. He is the head of house."
"It is nice to meet you Hadrian's father. Hadrian how have you been?"
"I've been good I just came down here to see if you where swimming around."
"Do you want to play 21 questions? Your dad can  play too if he would like."
"I can not stay I have to get to work with grading papers and other boring teacher stuff. Maybe next time." Severus said and left though his special teacher entrance that leads to his office.
"Well that is is one way to avoid any conversation with your dad. Thank you Will."
"No problem Hadrian. What happened this morning? Me and my entire gossip felt a strong magic lever."
"I got into a little disagreement with an older student, I let some of magic slip."
"I see. Well your friends are coming so I will be on my way."
"Good bye Will." Then Draco and his friends came in to find Hadrian looking out the window with a small smile on his face.
"Hadrian, are you okay?"
"Hey yes why do you ask, I'm fine."
"Well you did leave dinner early and didn't eat much so I was worried."
"No need professor Snape came to check up on me, he just left not to long ago. Maybe you would like to go and ask him if you don't believe me."
"You're mad at me."
"Well what did you think?"
"I-I was worried that maybe you where still shaken about this morning or last night and you wouldn't talk to me."
"So you told Dad instead of trusting me when I tell you that I'm okay."
"I'm sorry."
"I know. I am fine Draco."
"Sorry."
"It's okay. I'm going to our room to finish some homework. Have fun doing whatever nonboring thing you wanted to do."
"No you said you we could do that together so lets ge to doing it."
"What about your friends?"
"I don't mind, I wanted to know how you know so much about flowers." Theo said, he was wanting to know.
"I read a lot and I also have a photographic and long term memory so most of what I read stays in my brain untill I no longer need it."
"That is cool."
"Thanks? We have homework to do so lets get to it."
So they spent sometime doing homework and a little talking, well more like Draco trying to get Hadrian to talk to some of the other people in the room and Hadrian skillfully avoiding questions. Pansy was about to ask if Hadrian wanted to play truth or dare when Severus came into the common room with his teacher face on.
"Now I was informed that I must remind you that no student should be up and around the halls past cerfuew, but I am being 100% serious when I say no wondering around tonight. You will have detention with me shall I find that you have disobeyed. That was all. Hadrian he said green and purple."
"Is he Joker or something?"
"Who?" Just about everyone asked all at once.
"Nevermind, okay later I need to do some review and make sure I memorize the first few pages of my potions book." Severus raised an eyebrow at his son but said nothing more and left. "Pansy what where you going to say?"
"Did anyone want to play truth or dare?"
"Sure."
"So who wants go first?" Pansy asked.
"I will, Hadrian truth or dare?" Draco asked with way to much excitement in his voice.
"No, you are way to happy."
"No I'm not. Answer the question."
"Fine, truth."
"Is it true that you can speak other languages?"
"Oui, je peux."
"Cool." The game went on and after a little bit everyone went to bed. Well not Hadrian exactly, he had his magic thing to help keep control of his magic. Which Draco felt like he had to stay up and watch for whatever reason, Hadrian didn't really feel like asking or being anymore questions so he just let it be. Hadrian knew he had to to his mind and magic exercise but if he just skipped a step then he would be done faster and the could do another read through in his book before he went to sleep. Draco didn't know the steps to Hadrian night exercise all he knew was it was somethig he had to do so while Hadrian was doing his thing Draco watched him do it. It was kinda inestering to watch. To Draco Hadrian looked calm and not bothered by whatever it was that was making him all tence all day.
"Hey Hadrian what do you think of my friends?"
"Well I don't know, Theo doesn't seem to bad, Crabbe and Goyle don't seem to talk much, Blaise and Pansy are a little strong at times. I mean I just don't know them like you do."
"I know."
"Hey umm Dad gave me this cream for the words but I did't put any on last night so I need you to help me putting it on my back."
"Sure, take off your shirt and turn around."  
"Word of warning I know you have glanced at them but not really read them so just don't get to mad please."
"I will be cool don't worry."
"Fine." Hadrian very ungracefuly pulled off his shirt and turned his back to Draco so he could put the cream on the back. Draco gasped at his best friend, the biggest word is freak. Draco now with shaking hands slowly put the cream on Hadrian's back. After about five minutets of eerie quiet Draco spoke first.
"Lets head to bed yeah? We sadly have to hold off on our wondering around the school."
"Yeah. Good night Draco, and thank you."
Then the two brothers went to sleep hoping for the rest of the week to be a lot less eventfull.
