Getting Sorted and Talking to Snobby Pure-bloods Against Your Will

Hadrian now understood why his father disliked children so much. They are loud and do not know how to eat with their mouths closed. Well at least he had Draco as a friend, Hadrian was unsure on how to feel at the moment. Then a tall woman dressed in green robes and thin lips came out and adressed the loud group of eleven year olds. "I am Professor McGonagall." The tall woman said and from there she went on explaining the houses and the sorting. When she was done she led  them into the Great Hall. It was truly amazing and well magical. "Now when I call your name come forward to be sorted." And so it began.
"Abbot, Hanna."
"HUFFLEPUFF!"
"Boot, Terry"
"RAVENCLAW!"
And so on and so forth. Then it got to Draco.
"Malfoy, Draco."
The hat did not even touch his head before the hat yelled:
"SLYTHERIN!"
Man did he have the biggest smile on his face. Even Severus was clapping with a hint of pride in his eyes for his godson. Then after a few more people the name Harry Potter was called. Hadrian gave a side look to his father and they shared a nod, and Hadrian walked up to be sorted but before he sat down:
"Excuse me but that isn't my name anymore. It got changed over the summer."
"Really well may I ask your new name so none of us teachers make a mistake?"
"Yes it is Hadrian, Hadrian Snape." The whole hall was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Harry Potter is Snape's son. "Umm professor?"
"Yes your sorting sorry Mr. Snape." The hat went on his on head and you could feel the antisapation. No sorting took this long, after five minutes the hat yelled Hadrian's new house.
"SLYTHERIN!"
Hadrian looked back at Severus who had a full blown smile on his face and pure pride in his eyes. Hadrian handed the hat back and went to go sit down at his table. When he sat down Draco gave him a hug, and all the others where still in shock. The rest of the sorting went on and then Dumbledor got up to speak. The speach was a little unusal and weird and the feast went on from there. There where wispers all around the Hall about Hadrian and how in the world he of all people ended up with Snape.  The others that sat with Draco and got on Hadrian's nerves on the way here where back to asking question after question.
"You are Harry Potter? Why are you living with Snape? How did you make it in The Snake Pit?" Pansy Parkinson asked to everyones surprize Hadrian answred.
"Yes, he saved me, I wanted to be."
"What do you mean you wanted to be?" Draco asked
"I'm so much like the other houses I got to choose what house I wanted it to be in. After this I have to go see the Headmaster, he wants to talk to me about how I ended up with you and dad and whatever else . I really don't want to I just want to go to bed."
"What you need to do is eat cause you know Sev is not going to let you get away with not eating, plus I'll be the one getting a scolding for not telling you to eat so yeah."
"I'm not hungry just tired so I'm good on the food option, just be happy that I got use to the smell before we got here. Anyway I can't have what I want to eat."
"What pancakes, I'm sure we could ask a house elf to make you some if you wanted..."
"No I like the way Dad makes them, he puts in extra chips and makes them twice the size they are normaly and he lets me have three with rasberry suryp. It's the best thing in the world."
"I think your cooking is the best. You still owe me cookies and a batch of cupcakes and I'm adding a full breakfast to the list because you should have come and got me this morning." Draco went on ranting and braging about how good of a cook and baker Hadrian was and how he makes the best biscuts in the world. Hadrian was looking over the teachers table and he saw the lost of entrance in the conversation his dad was having with Quirrell. When Quirrell made eye contact with him his scar started to burn, it hurt like getting a needle shoved into your arm by a newbie nurse. "Hey are you alright?" Draco asked as Hadrian sharted to rub his scar.
"Yeah, like I said I'm just tired. It is nothin don't worry about it."
"If you say so. It's alnost time for us to head to our dorms so you might want to head to Dumbledore's office so you don't get run over."
"Yeah, and don't tell them to much about me and my cooking they might actualy start expecting things from me and we can't have that now can we?"
"You're right we don't want you to have any new friends or anything like that. People who like you and want to hang out with you is horrid and should not even be talked about."
"I knew you saw it my way, see you later Draco and Draco's friends have fun doin whatever while I'm gone." And on that last note he left and was met by Severus who was waiting for him. "Hi Dad lets go, I'm intrested in seeing what the Headmaster has to say about me being with you, the school is so cool. I can't wait to start classes."
"So it isn't as bad as you thought it would be?"
"Fine, I Hadrian Snape admits defeat and realizes that I was over reacting a tiny bit. Happy?"
"Yes, now why didn't you eat? Are you felling sick or something?"
"I wanted pancakes, there aren't any so I didn't eat. It's only one meal and I'm fine. Are me and Dray in a room? I don't wanna share a bathroom with some one I don't know. I don't think they like me very much but I can live with that, I got you and Draco here and that's all I need so I'm good on the whole talk to people and social thing. Being social is overrated anyway."
"You need to to slow down. First of all I don't want you skiping any more meals, second yes I'm not stupid, thrid, what do you mean miss Parkinson and mr Zabini seem to want to know you."
"All Pansy wants to know if Draco likes her and she wants to get to know me so that way she has a way to get to Draco, and Zabini grew up knowing all possiable Slytherins and Draco so when he saw me with Draco on the train and he did not reconize me he asked me to tell them somethin about myself so that maybe he could get somethin from me but I wouldn't talk so he just wants to see what he can find out about me not because he wants to be my friend but because of a natural human need to know the unknown. I am unknown to him so he wants to find out about me."
"And you are not letting him. Fourth, while I'm glad you like to spend time with me you might want to spend time with kids your age and not just Draco. Now I'm not saying you have to go up to some one and become best friends with them in ten minutes of meeting them just if some one walks up to you don't be so fast to brush them off. And socialization is overrated."
"I knew you would agree with me on that one."
"Whatever now come on. Lemon Drops." The gargoyle moved out the way and let them in. The office was kinda cool if you ask Hadrian. Severus was apauled at how messy it was and all the strange colored fabric around the room that has not changed at all in all the time Severus has known the Headmaster.
"Severus and Hadrian, please come in have a seat. Lenom Drop?"
"No thank you." Severus answered.
"Yes please. I've never had one before." Hadrian said and took a candy. "This is good. Dad I like these a lot."
Severus glared at Albus. "Thank you for giving him an even bigger sweet tooth, I should not even let you eat any sweets because you didn't eat dinner. What was it you wanted to talk about Albus?"
"I just wanted to know how Harry well now Hadrian came to live with you and why you felt the need to hide it from me. If you had any concerns about the boy you should have told me."
"It wasn't me it was Draco who told Mr.Malfoy and he called me to go and look into the whole thing because he said that Draco seemed pretty upset about what Hadrian said to him. I went and found him locked in a cleaning closet under the stairs with clothes on him that didn't fit him and he was so thin and bloody. It was so bad. I took him from that place and from then on for a week he lived with the Malfoys and then I came up with idea of adopting him. I was surpirzed he said yes when I asked him if he would want to live with me. We only spent a few hours together and he trusted me. So for the rest of the summer he lived with me and we got the papers signed the second week of last month."
"I see you still should have told me and we have avoided that scene in the Hall. And I know for a fact that you put that little plan in action."
"Why thank you for reconizing my skills, now if you don't mind it is past his bed time and I still need to introduce myself to the first years and make sure they know were thire rooms are and also see if any of the pairs will have a problem with one another. I will see you in the morning Albus, goodnight. Say goodnight Hadrian."
"Goodnight Headmaster. It was nice to meet you sir."
"Goodnight and it was nice to meet you too Hadrian. I will see you two in the morning." Severus left with a hyper Hadrian, Severus didn't see him take like three more lemon drops before leaving. It does not take a lot of sugar for him to become hyper. Severus was disapointed in himself for not looking and making sure that Albus had put the candy up and surely Albus knew that he had taken a few more before they left.
"Come on you can see our personal rooms and you can get a feel for your second room and take a shower. Then I need to go give my welcome speach to the first years and assign dorm rooms. I will hand out class schedules in the mornig."
"Kk, Dad do you think I can do this and not have a panic attak?"
"Yes, you have Draco and myself to help you and you do have the whole house of Slytherin on your side. I think you are going to do amazing things."
"Thanks Dad."
"Now stop being all mushy I have a reputation to uphold."
"Yeah as second most feared teacher in school."
"Second. Who comes before me?"
"Professor McGonagall." Hadrian said and kept walking down the corridor.
"Really, I will have to have a talk with her about that."
"However I'm sure that to most of the Huffelpuffs think you are more frighting."
"Well at least I've got one house. Here we are the port hole with Salazar on it is our rooms. Hello Salazar, how are you this evening?"
"Why hello Severus, I am well. My who do we have here, is this your hachling?"
"Yes he is my adopted son Hadrian, he is a first year. Hadrian say hello." Instead of saying it he hissed it.
"Hello do I call you Salazar too or something else?"
"Another speaker? I have not had a polite heir in a long time. You can call me Grampa Sal if you wish you are my chosen heir."
"Hadrian you never told me that you speak parsel-tounge or a parsel-mouth for that matter."
"I didn't know it was an uncommon thing I just thought it was somethin all wizards could do so when I found out I didn't think anythin of it. Hey Sal what did you mean be chosen heir?"
"It means that my other heirs that came before you where not the ones worthy enough to carry on my vision for this world and did not deserve the benifits that came with being Lord Slytherin, you are diffrent and your grandma Helga will be happy to see you, you have an air of innocence and love around you that I have not felt in a long time."
"Wait Helga as in Helga Huffelpuff?" Hadrian and Severus where shocked at all this new infomation.
"Salazar we need to get going do you mind if we can finish this another time?"
"Yes Severus of course. Goodnight you two."
Once they got inside Hadrian saw this look on his fathers face that seemed to to a mix of fear, happiness, and pride. "Dad are you okay? I still need to head back to the common room before Dray starts to worry and you need to give out sleeping arangments."
"Yes I'm fine lets go." They went into the common room and Draco was the first one to notice Hadrian and praticaly yelled his name.
"Hadrian! I was worried about you."
"What could have happened tp me I was with Dad the whole thirty minutes I was gone. You are so over dramatic sometimes."
"I don't care."
Severus cleared his throat to get the first years attention."Sorry that took longer than I thought. Now we are not the most favored in this school but that does not mean we can act up and prove them right. The rules are on the chalk board by the entrace. If you are going to break the rules you better not get caught by another teacher or perfect form another house, that will get you a detention with me. Your dorm mate will be the same for your entire time at this school. Young ladys on the left and gentalmen on the right. The list of who you you will be rooming with and the room will be next to the door goodnight and you will get your class schedules in the morning."
With that he left and the first years went to their rooms. Draco was happy to find that him and Hadrian had the same room Blasie wanted to room with Draco to see if he could any info on Hadrian. Theo and Blasie are dorm mates and Crabe and Goyle are in a room. When Hadrian and Draco walked into the room they where both surprized at how big the room was. Two four poster queen sized beds and two desks for the boys and one bathroom with two sinks and showers and one tub and toliet. Of course the beds are house colors but one was green and the other was silver. Draco called dibs on the green one and left Hadrian with the silver one.
"Hey Dray wanna know somethin?"
"Yes."
"I'm the chosen heir of Salazar Slytherin and just maybe the other three founders."
"WHAT?!?! That is awesome. Talk about ruling the school. What did Sev say?"
"Well we are going to go and see Sal sometime later and he will explain everything."
"How did you find out and who is Sal?"
"Sal is what I call Salazar he is my grandfather in some way and Helga is my grandmother too. Dad too me to his fooms that he has taken to calling out rooms and it's the one with Sal on it, I started talking in parsel-tounge and Dad was surprized and that was when Sal said out of all the heirs he has met no one was worthy untill he met me and so now I'm Lord Slytherin."
"Wow that is so cool. Hey so does that mean you can become the new ruler of the school if you wanted to and like set new rules and make Dumbledore do what you say?"
"I think but I'm not sure about the others yet so I'll hold on to making anythin offical yet. I think our offical team name will be the Snapes and the mascot will be a snake I call team captin and seeker you will be keeper and co-captin. That is my first decree as king."
"All hail King Hadrian!" Draco said laughing. Hadrian joined him.
"Hey I need to take a shower and if you want you can get in after me. Before you ask I'm going first because you take forever."
"Fair enough." Hadrian got his bed clothes and went to go tack his shower. Now Draco didn't know this at the time but Hadrian had a habbit of singing in the shower. So when he heard singing coming from the bathroom he was shocked to find out it was Hadrian and not someone under the polyjuice potion. Draco didn't know the song and gessed it was a muggle song that Hadrian knew. Draco opened the door a little bit to hear better.

Then Draco heard the water turn off and he very quickly and quietly made it to his bed before the door opened. You could still see the scars on Hadrian's back the words those pigs carved into him and called him and made this inocennt boy believe that he was a freak and a murder, nothing, Draco hates them. Hadrian still beleives what they say, he knows the people around him say otherwise but he still can't get over what they say. Those people his aunt, uncle, and cousin are his family, his only blood family and what they say mean something to him. Blood is thicker than water. "Hey Dray it's your turn."
"Okay, hey I didn't know you could sing."
"I don't think I'm good or anythin I just do it to help keep calm and not freak out you know. Don't make it a habbot of getting me to sing, I am not good plus it ecos in the bathroom so."
"Well sing a little so I can get a better and more accurate sound of your voice."
"How about this weekend I will sing for you and Dad but I'm sleepy."
"Fine, I'll go take my shower. Do something with your hair."
"I will in the morning."
"Whatever."
Draco went and got in his shower. When Draco came out Hadrian was asleep. Draco turned off the light and closed his curtains and went to sleep himself.

"Salazar how is this possible?"
"Severus calm down I know it is hard to understand but it is also difficult to explain, but he is myand the others heir when he turns sixteen he will need to claim his Lordships as Lord Slythrien, Huffelpuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor if the othrers aprove of him. Hogwarts is alreadr starting to bond her magic with his and he will be stronger in the morning and the school will start to respond to his needs and comply with what he ask for. The school reconizes him and so the others can not ignore it."
"I see. Well I am going to bed, this is a lot. Goodnight Salazar."
"Goodnight." Severus went into his room and closed the door. "This is going to be one exciting year, I need to tell the others about this young one." With that Salazar went off to find the other founders and tell them the good news about his new dicovery.
