Chapter 5: Heart Break Nine o' Clock

~OK WELL U CAN GUESS BY THE CHAPTER TITLE THIS ISN'T GONNA BE A HAPPY CHAPPY FOR RYUU SO WELL YOU'LL SEE.....~

I woke up around 2 am with a pounding headache. "Ugh!" I groaned as I clutched my throbbing temples, "I told them that I didn't want to drink anymore...." I muttered, getting up and walking into my bathroom. "Aspirin, aspirin, aspirin....ah there it is!" I muttered gulping 2 pills and a bottle of water.

I looked around my dim lighted room, Someone was in here..... I realized that I had no memory of getting home, and I had on someone elses jacket, I pulled it off gentley and sniffed it, Hmmmm it doesn't smell like Kiba....and not Naruto or Neji, and definatly not Tatsu.....but could it be Sasuke's? I turned it around to see the Uchiha crest on the back, Yep, maybe I could run out and return it, I can't sleep now without thanking him.

I pulled on my own coat and walked out with his jacket folded neatly in my arms, I couldn't help but smelling it again, "He smells so good...." I accidentally murmured, a blush immediately covering my cheeks.

I turned and took the short cut through the park. I began to hum 'Linkin Park, Breaking The Habit' and found myself singing along with the chorus, "I'm breaking the habit, I'm breaking the habit.....Tonight...." I was enjoying myself until I turned the corner, and the only sound I heard was my heart breaking.

"K-Kiba? What are you doing making out with Karin?" I asked my voice breaking

"Ryuu! I-I....It's not what you think!" He stumbled with his words, but Karin looked....pleased that I found them, her smirk told me what I thought was right.

My boyfriend has been cheating on me....and this is not the first time. So I did what I always do, I shut down, turned off my emotions.

"Kiba, don't even try to lie. We're through. I don't ever want to see you again." I turned and walked away calmly, but when I turned the corner my wall fell. I burst into silent tears and sobs, and I began to run, I don't know where or how long but I finally realized that I didn't even realize that it started pouring ran until I ran into someone.

"Whoa! Watch where your go- Ryuu?" Sasuke said when he saw me but his feature darkened when he saw my tear streaks."What happened?" He growled

"I-I saw...Kiba...with Karin....He cheated on me!" My voice broke with sobs as I clung to Sasuke, my knees buckling, he wrapped his arms around my waist and held me as I cried, and cried, and cried. Slowly my sobs turned to hiccups.

He reached down and did his best to whip away my tears in the rain, "Come on, we have to get you inside. You'll catch a cold if you don't get warmed up. My place is just around the corner" He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and lead me down the street and into his place. After that I don't remember much. I remember him asking questions and then him leaving me to take a shower, the next thing that I remembered clearly is that I stood there outside his bathroom wearing on of his baggy shirt like a dress, my hair a little damp from the hot shower.

"Arigato, Sasuke, but I can't bother you any more I should get back to my place." I said, but I didn't really want to leave....

"Nope, its really pouring out right now, your clothes are wet, and its to late, you shouln't even have been out this late in the first place!" He said and he stood in front of the door. "Why were out anyway?" he raised a eyebrow

"Ummmm I wanted to thank you for helping me home and I wanted to return you jacket..." I stared at the floor, playing with the bottom of Sasuke's shirt nervously.

He facepalmed, "Baka! You could have just done that tomorrow!" He yelled

"Gomen....." I murmured

He sighed and took a deep breath, "Well whats done is done, but your staying here the night." He said with a 'and-that's-final-no-buts-or-whys' tone.

"Hai...." I responded weakly, feeling hollow on the inside, "But I might need to go back to the park..." I said looking up at Sasuke

"Why? Is that where you saw Kiba?" He said

I nodded then smiled weakly, "Cause I think I left my shattered heart back there...." I was really bad and trying to make a joke out of this.

He looked at me and then the next thing I knew was that I was in his arms and he was hugging me tightly to his chest. "Don't worry, you never lost it...." He said and I could practically hear his blush heat up his cheeks, and I smiled, we stood there until he broke the hug, realizing my hair was still wet, he walked into the bathroom returning with a small towel, and began to roughly dry my hair, "You can't sleep with your hair wet you'll catch a cold..." He grumbled.

"It wasn't that wet..." I grumbled back.

He snorted, "Yeah ok, then why is my shirt wet?"

"Cause we were out in the rain?" I answered

"But I changed into dry clothes, but now they're wet." He shoot back

"...." I pouted

He smirked, "Guess I win."

I looked away, "Where's the guest room?" I asked

"There isn't one."

"Nani? Then where do I sleep?"

"With me." He said shortly.

"NANI!?!" I exclaimed

"Nani? If you don't want to sleep next to me I'll take the floor." He offered leading me to his bedroom

"N-no its fine it just I was surprised is all...." I blushed

He got into bed and pulled me in by my wrist, "Comfortable?" he asked

"Hai..." I whispered, embaressed slightly

"Ok, Oyasuminasai, Ryuu." He muttered before closing his eyes.

"Oyasuminasai, Sasuke."

Several minutes later I waited until he was asleep, I snuggled closer into his side, snuggling into his warmth, I felt him reflexively wrap his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I sighed contently, and drifted off to a peaceful sleep, encompassed in Sasuke's warmth.

SASUKE'S POV

I felt her snuggled into me after several minutes, I smiled slightly and pulled her closer to me, Damn! She's freezing! I should have given her a thicker shirt! I thought about getting up and letting her get into a warmer outfit, but that meant she probably would be embarrassed that I caught her snuggling closer to me and she probably wouldn't do it again.

So I laid there waiting until she was in a deep sleep, then I reluctantly slipped out of bed, placing a thick pillow in my place. I threw on some jeans and a sweater and headed out. The only thought in my mind was, I'll make Kiba pay.

I stalked up to Kiba's house and pounded on the door. When he finally opened it he looked like he was still with Karin and that pushed me over the edge.

"What the hell do you want, don't you see I'm bus-" Was all he said before I punched him in the jaw as hard as I could, not caring if I bruised my knuckles.

"What the hell, man?" He said clutching his jaw.

"If you ever so much as talk to Ryuu again, I'll make you regret it!" I ground out coldly, turned on my heel and stalked away before he could respond.

I finally reached my apartment and shrugged off my clothes and tried to get into bed without waking Ryuu, I settled in when Ryuu moaned and looked up and me groggily.

"Where were you?" she noticed that the now sprinkling rain had damped my hair, and that the chill from the autumn night still clung to my skin, I relaxed and pulled her into my chest, "Just taught the dog a lesson." I murmured.

She looked up at me confused, but then shrugged and fell asleep, snuggling as close to me as possible.

~AWWWWWWWWW I FELT REALLY BAD FOR RYUU AND I KNOW KIBA IS OUT OF CHARACTER AND I APOLOGIZE TO ANY KIBA FANS SO PLEAZE DONT EAT ME!!!! >.< AND AWWWWWWW SASUKE AND RYUU HAD A MOMENT THEY JUST SO CUTE X3!!!!!!! WELL OK TELL ME WHAT YA'LL THINK. FAN. VOTE, COMMENT :)~
