Chapter Eight

*Aria's POV*

I was sitting in Ezra's car waiting for him to get his phone because he had left it in the apartment. I sat there, watching all of the cars go by; looking at all the flashing colors. I was enjoying the breeze from outside until I saw something rather strange across the road. It was a little girl...a little blonde girl. She was all alone. I felt bad for her at first, than I saw who walked up to her. I started screaming, It was a taller version of her in a red coat with an Ali face mask. What was happening? Was this the beginning of the end? Or was the torture just beginning? I don't know why, but it keeps reminding me to tell Ezra. I love him so much but I'm so scared. Tonight is the night I tell him. That is a promise.

*A's POV*

Hanna's not the last one to be in pain. I'll get all of them. Soon enough, they will all want to leave Rosewood...fast. Next, is Aria, then Spencer, and then Emily. I can't wait until the day I can say that I won and destroyed them mentally and hopefully physically *laughs malevolently*. I'm taking these bitches down once and for all.

The Text Message: "Either you tell Mr.Fitz or I will.  xoxo, -A"

*Ezra's POV*

"Aria? Your phone went off." I said although I really wanted to check it. What if it was from one of the girls? Or A? Or about A? So I did it. 

"K babe, be out in a sec." 

I read the text. I immediately felt angered by what I read from A. I knew she was hiding something but what was it. I thought we trusted each other with everything...I guess not. What if she was pregnant? A would know that kind of thing. It was weird, A had forgotten to block their number. I was able to call it and text back. I texted back:

The Text Message: "Leave us alone. -E"

Text Back From A: "I want you all to leave Rosewood. -A"

Reply From Ezra: "That's not going to happen. Don't be a coward and tell us all who you really are! -E"

Text Back From A: "Haha, how cute Ezra. I won't tell you that easy. You're going to have to work for it-  A"

Reply From Ezra: "What kind of work? -E"

Text Back From A: "Oh, you'll see. Swings. Midnight. Come alone or I'll kill you all. -A"

I was shocked at what I had just read. I just had a conversation with A. Did the girls ever try to reply? I doubt it. That would have really rattled the cage. Did I just rattle the cage? I hope not. I looked at the clock, it read 10:30 pm. I have an hour and a half to get this secret out of Aria.

*Aria's POV*

I was listening through the bathroom door. I kept hearing clicking noises from a keyboard. My phone keyboard. Ezra has an  iPhone, so I know for sure that it wasn't his...It had to be mine. I don't mind if Ezra responds to my texts but not if he tries to keep it from me. What if it was Jake? Or Noel? Or even A? I knew he probably wouldn't hold a conversation with Emily, Hanna, or Spencer for that long. I guess I'll ask him when I get out, but what if he lies? Ugh, It's so hard to live through life when every time someone talks to you, you don't know if you can trust them or if you turn a corner you're afraid someone will jump out and kill you. I don't think I'll survive this. A really is winning.

*Ezra's POV*

"Aria? Can you come here for a sec?"

"Yeah, sure. What's up?" She said as she sat on my lap.

"What have you been keeping from me?"

"Uh...I...I....I can't do this!" And she ran out of the door.

Okay, so I know this one is definitely shorter then the others, but that's because I'm coming up with another plot for the next chapter, which I'm going to start right now!
