Chapter Seventeen

*Ezra's POV*

I woke up from the sound of a cute, yet quite, yawn. I looked down and saw Aria's glistening hazel eyes.

"Good morning, beautiful." I said, hoping to get an answer. I wasn't sure if she was still mad at me for playing that joke on her last night.

"I am not beautiful." My eyes widen at her statement.

"You did not just say that. Aria, you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen."

"Oh, so, how many beautiful guys have you seen, Mr. Fitz?" I laughed slightly, she did the same.

"I've seen a few, but none were as beautiful as you." I saw her cheeks blush. I caressed her face delicately. She moved her lips closer to mine and we hovered there. Suddenly, she pressed her lips to mine, and in the back of my mind I heard fireworks bursting to the rhythm of our intimate moment.

"Ezra, we need to slow down, you're still inju—" I cut her off before she could even finish her sentence with a passionate kiss, but we did stop when the doctor walked in the room.

"Aria?" She broke the kiss and turned around.

"Wren?" Her facial expression changed for loving me to caring about him.

"Oh my god! I haven't seen you in ages!" She ran up to him and nearly leaped into his arms. If it wasn't for me, I would've thought they were a couple. They let go and turned around to face me once again. Aria ran back to me and sat on the chair a few inches away.

"Okay, Ezra Fitz? Oh yes, the English teacher."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, just an observation."

"Okay?" I stared at him like he was in an interrogation room.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" I gave Aria that 'are you kidding me?' look, she just shrugged her shoulders and smiled.

"Well if you haven't noticed, I was shot!" I practically yelled.

"Oh, yeah, that's right." I think he was doing it to get on my nerves.

"Do you mind if I get a new doctor?"

"Why, mate?"

"Because I don't appreciate you flirting with my fiancé!" I looked at Aria and she was blushing. She ran out of the room after glaring at me.

"Aria, wa—" Wren cut me off.

"Just let her go."

*Aria's POV*

I ran to the bathroom after hearing what Ezra said. He embarrassed me. I never intended for him to be jealous. I don't know If I should go back or not. I ran out for no reason. I love Ezra, doesn't he know that? Wren is not a threat, we're just good friends because of Melissa. After about twenty minutes, I started walking towards Ezra's room, hoping he was asleep and Wren left, but nope, none of that happened. Wren was spinning around on a chair and Ezra was holding his head in his hands, depressed. I knocked lightly on the door hoping one of them would be able to hear it. Wren ran up to me for a hug.

"Wren? Can I have some time with Ezra?" He dropped his arms from hug formation and walked out of the room with a small nod.

"Ezra..." I said walking over to his bed, but before I could say anything else he started to speak.

"Aria, I'm so sorry for embarrassing you like that, I was just jea—" I cut him off with a kiss to shut him up. It worked.

"Ezra, you didn't embarrass me, I just was shocked. You seemed...jealous."

"I was jealous...the way you ran up to him. I thought he was competition."

"Ezra, you will never have 'competition.'" I kissed her slowly and passionately while rubbing her belly.

{One month later}

* Still Aria's POV*

"Ezra, my stomach has never hurt this bad." I said with a whiny tone to my voice.

"Aria, I know, but it's for our bundle of joy.=" I smiled slightly.

"These months are going by so slowly. It's only been like two months."

"I know, but we'll get through it...together." I gave a him a small kiss on his cheek.

"C'mon babe, let's go get the others."

"Wait. Ezra?"

"Yeah?" He said turning around.

"Is the baby going to be born in California, or are we going back to Rosewood?"

"I don't know, we can figure that out when we talk about the wedding, yeah?"

"Yeah, sure." I forced a smile out. I kept thinking about that. I'm not one of those people that can just go with the flow, everything has to be planned and settled or else I'll freak out. Ezra on the other hand is super 'go with the flow'. I already know for a fact I'll be planning the wedding and where we'll live and, I seriously am stressing myself out.

"Ezra? Where are you?" I looked throughout the entire hotel while thinking. I got no reply. Where was he? Did he leave already? I kept thinking on and on until I heard sirens.

"Oh no." I muttered under my breath.
