Lucy's POV:
(The next day)
I was at home, laying in bed... I was thinking about yesterday. I think I did pretty good, though I'm not that sure compared to the others... I bet their works are better than mine.. They could be a lot better than me, I don't know...
Natsu keeps saying that I am going to win this but I'm not so sure... I'll just shrug it off for now... And what is the reward for the winner? That's something miss Mirajane didn't tell us... Oh well.
I was going to text Natsu, but right as I was about to pick up the phone, it buzzed. I checked who texted me and it was Natsu, just as I thought...
"Heya Luce! Can I come at your place? "
"Sure!"
"Alright! See ya in a minute! "
"Okay! 😊"
A few minutes later he was already at my door. I let him in and he just jumped in my bed. I giggled. He then turned to look at me also giggling.
"What's so funny? "
"You just look like a child...It is funny Natsu! "
"I don't look like a child! *pouts*"
"You're cute. "
"😶W-What?"
"😳Uhm... Nothing... "
"Luce.. "
I was suddenly pulled onto the bed by Natsu, that was slightly blushing. I can't believe I called him cute!! 😶😳
Ahh it's embarrassing!!!😳😳 I practically told him I like him! Do I?
He is... Funny, cute, he also acts childish sometimes, he's protective and he really supports his friends. But does he even like me that way? Does he even see me as something more than a friend?
I...love him.. He's always by my side and he protects me... He did from the beginning..Even if he bullied me at first, he is really nice to me and he's so caring. I really love him...
Right as I was pulled onto the bed, me and Natsu just looked at each other, until we both got flustered and looked away...Would he feel that way about me? I mean.. We were about to kiss a week ago.. Maybe he does love me back... I'll have to ask him.
"What was that sudden pull?! "
"Erhm.. Sorry.. didn't mean to be that sharp.. Lucy I..."
"....Uhm.. Yes? "
"Look, I need to tell you something... "
"..M-me too.. "
"Oh.. Uhm.. T-then you go f-first..
(Oh God why am I stuttering!!!)"
"No..you go first.. "
"Uhm.. Okay. Look Lucy I.. I have to tell you this. I've been meaning to do it a while ago but I wasn't sure.. What I want to say is... Luce..I.really really like you! Oh what am I saying I love you Luce! You are my everything! I love the way you smile, laugh and focus on things... I love you for you Luce! Even if you don't feel the same way, I..will always be there for you!
I just wanted to tell you, I couldn't hold it any longer... Will you accept me Luce..?"
At that moment I felt like I was going to explode. He confessed!!! He loves me back, I'm so so happy!!! Seeing that I was a little shocked and didn't get to respond he turned sad.
"...I.. I get it if you maybe don't feel the same.... It's okay.... "
"No! Don't say that! I love you too Natsu!! I return your feelings!!! I do feel the same way, please don't be sad because of it..."
"...?! You really love me back Luce?!
Are you being serious?"
"Of course I am Natsu! I love you!"
"Luce.. I..am sooo so happy! *hugs Lucy tight* I love you so much!! "
"I love you too."
(They both kiss)
"Luce.. I love you so much.. "
"I love you too Natsu. "
"I know I'm not handsome and stuff, and I don't have a lot of money but-"
"What are you saying? You are perfect. You're the most handsome guy I've ever seen..And you don't even have to be rich, that's not what matters. I love you for you Natsu... "
"Thank you Luce. It means so much to me.. I love you too"
(They kiss)
"You are amazing Luce, you know that? *smiles*"
"*giggles* Yeah.. I guess I am.."
Author's POV:
For the rest of the day, the two spent their time talking, laughing and kissing, like a happy couple... They both enjoyed themselves...
As it got dark, it was time Natsu had to leave to get to his house.. But instead, he stayed over at Lucy's place.. They both cuddled together and slept peacefully until the morning.
They were happy.. They felt like it was their best day ever, and it really was..They confessed their love to each other, and after that, Natsu asked Lucy to be his girlfriend, witch she gladly responded with a "YES".
