Jamie -

We arrived in a city that I don’t even know how to pronounce before the boys went straight to their soundcheck, leaving Mercedes and I. We decided to walk around for a bit and meet a few fans, that was not a smart idea. We ended up having to call Paul and Preston because we got mobbed trying to get to a store in the mall, Preston wasn’t too happy with us… but it was better than staying in that bloody awful bus. 

“How are things with you and Niall?” Mercedes asks as we enter the stadium with Paul in front of us, leading us towards the boys.  

“Eh, he was upset because I didn’t tell him that I could sing, write or play guitar.” I answer truthfully

“Why didn’t you mention it before?” 

I shrug, “He never brought it up and I never did it in front of him so I just didn’t say anything.” 

“I thought he would’ve been the boyfriend to wrap his arms around you and try to teach you how to play guitar but when in reality, you can probably play better than him.” she laughs

“Well, I did work on a song while I was with him but he probably thought I was just doing schoolwork.” I admit as we sit down in the front row. We could hear the directioners from our seats, they were absolutely insane about seeing the guys. 

We watched 5sos make sure everything was set for their performance before they join us in the front row, Calum takes a seat next to Mercedes and wraps his arm around her before giving her a kiss on the forehead. I smile at how cute they were before focusing my attention on my journal. I’ve been writing a lot more lately, Harry really helped me yesterday and now I don’t want to stop writing. I haven’t spent much time with Niall, he’s mostly been sleeping while I’ve been writing and fixing everything. They finish up their checking and final rehearsing, Niall comes over and plants a kiss on my cheek before hooking his arm around my waist. I close my journal and smile up at him, “Can I see your journal?” he asks and tugs on it, I laugh and pull it securely to my chest. “Why not?” he pouts.

“It’s my song journal and it’s personal.” I inform him and give him a quick peck on the lips before we get up and walk backstage. 

As they begin to get ready, I find Niall’s acoustic and tune it before strumming a bit of Stars. I mess up a bit and try to fix it but it doesn’t sound right. “Do you want any help?” I look up and find a shy looking Luke. 

“Sure” I smile, he nods and sits down next to me. “I’m trying to play this” I tell him and play a chord “But it doesn’t sound right” he nods again and says something about a different chord. I see him fidgeting about how he should help me, whether or not to put his arms around me or not. “C-can I?” he asks nervously, I laugh and nod. He slowly puts his arms around me and rests his hands on mine. “You could play this instead of this.” He informs me and changes our fingers positions. 

I hear someone clear his throat and see an upset Niall. “Hey, Luke was just fixing my song.” I smile at my boyfriend

“I better finish getting ready..” Luke says quickly before getting up and exiting the dressing room. Niall shoots me a glare before sitting down next to me. 

“You okay?” I set down his guitar and look towards him, he shoots me a glare and shakes his head. Jealous much? I roll my eyes “He was helping me with my song, I would’ve asked you but you were getting ready and he was already done with everything. Same with Harry yesterday, you were napping and I didn’t want to wake you up.” I tell him and close my journal before intertwining our fingers together. “I had eyes for you when we met and I still do.” I give him a kiss on the cheek before getting up and heading over to Mercedes and Calum. They’re holding hands while he has his arm around her shoulders, they were both on their phones. I sit across from them, next to Ashton and get on my phone. I snap a picture of the two lovebirds and tweet it.

“I hate you!” Mercedes shrieks and looks up from her Twitter. I laugh and look over at Ashton

“Admit it, those two are cute.” he grins and nods as I show him the picture. Niall comes over and puts his arms around me, he leans down and kisses me on the lips upside down. 

“I’m sorry” He says into the kiss, I laugh and pull away. 

“Go finish getting ready” I shove him away before getting called over to help Michael with his hair. 

After everyone is ready, we head to the wings of the stage, I give the boys each a hug. Calum and Mercedes are in the middle of a heated make out session before he went out onstage. Mercedes and I are singing along to their set list backstage but before they begin Beside You, Calum begins to speak to the crowd. “A few days ago, I met this incredible girl named Mercedes. She is the best friend of Jamie Stewart and she’s here right now backstage but before we preform Beside You, I have a question for you Mercedes.” He turns towards us. “Will you please come out here?” he asks, I smile and look over at the frozen Mercedes. I laugh and shove her onto the stage where Calum takes her hand. “Will you be my girlfriend?” 

“Yes” she chokes out before giving him a hug and a kiss.

I updated Hey, I love you so go check it out if you want. I feel really busy about everything so I think this will be one of the last updates for a few days but I don't know, maybe I'll find some wifi and get to post my chapters!
