"Why were you going to see Dumbledore?" I asked Harry as he told us about seeing Tonks on his way to see Dumbledore.
"I er- had an appointment with him." Harry said. I raised my eyebrows at him as we ate breakfast in the Great Hall a few weeks later.
"I've been having appointments with him about a memory he wants me to get from Slughorn. I didn't tell you because I know you don't like Slughorn and don't want anything to do with him." Harry said with a sigh. I grinned and nodded as Ron snorted into his pumpkin juice.
"You're right. Continue." I told him grinning.
"She seemed very off. Said she was going to see Dumbledore but he was gone." Harry said and continued to think in his head. I shrugged turning away from the conversation. Of course she was probably either sad about mom or dad. Plenty of things for her to be 'Off.' about these days. I glanced over at the Slytherin table, where I don't sit anymore, and saw Malfoy staring at me. I narrowed my eyes at him and he quickly looked away.
"You okay?" Hermione asked after seeing me looking at him. I nodded smiling at her.
"Fine." I said.
"Why did you guys break up again?" Ginny asked. I shrugged.
"It just wasn't working. I need to go." I said wanting to avoid this conversation. I stood up from the table grabbing my bag. I walked out of the hall rubbing my nose as I sniffed. I wasn't crying over him anymore, but if I think about it, it makes me sad. I walked to potions slowly thinking as I did. Sometimes I wondered where Malfoy and I would be now if I hadn't overheard him. Would he have taken me to Voldemort? What was he going to do in the Room Of Requirement that would put me on his side? I wanted to go up and ask him about his tasks or whatever, but I knew that would just cause trouble. I sighed as I entered potions. The only other person already there was Ernie from Hufflepuff. Soon after I arrived Harry arrived followed by Malfoy. I sat by myself where the Ravenclaws usually sit, while Harry sat with Ernie and Malfoy sat by himself.
"All too young for apperation? I see well let's do something fun today!" Slughorn said already annoying me. Though I frowned at Malfoy. Didn't he do apperation when we left the Weasley's?
"Surprise me!" Slughorn said. So basically everyone had to make a potion. I flipped to a random page in my potions book and quickly made the potion I put it in a vial and set it on the desk and pulled out a book to read for the last twenty minutes of the class.
"Excellent as usual my dear!" Slughorn said. I gave him a fake smile and returned to my book as he inspected my potion. After class, which Malfoy and Ernie left grumpily because Slughorn had favored Harry and I once again, I walked off to my next class alone. I met Ginny in the hallway since we were going to our next class and chatted with her during History Of Magic. Professor Binns never notices that no one pays attention in his class. With the exception of Hermione, I think. After History Of Magic we went to all of our other class, and finally finished the day with Transfiguration.
"I don't wanna go outside." I whined to Ginny as she pulled me outside like we do everyday.
"Why not?" She asked.
"I feel all moody. I wanna go take a nap and complain about how my life sucks." I told her. She gave me a blank look and let go of my hand.
"Okay then. Just don't watch sad movies." She warner.
"How would I watch sad movies?" I asked confused. She shrugged and walked off to the trio, who were by the lake. I sighed and walked by into the castle making my way down to the dungeons.
"Hi stranger." I said to a random person who had their back to me once I arrived at the common room. They turned around and I groaned.
"Hello Ebony." Nick said with a small smile. I nodded my head and stood in front of him.
