I mean...these two are pretty alright, I guess. As you guys sort of already know, I'm not a huge fan of trainer ships...however, these two I can see as being decent if expressed creatively. (It' super early right now, and I can hardly focus...I'm so sorry this explanation is so wacky 😂)
One thing that does sort of stand out, though, is that each of these trainers aren't the main protagonists...whereas instead they were more of a side character than anything. This non-mainstream approach is something that I can respect...and, visually, these two would be cute together I feel! I am totally for a fanfiction focusing on developing the lives of these two trainers, and ultimately, both Sawyer and Shauna were pretty cool characters in XY.
Thus...even though it is a trainer x trainer ship and wouldn't necessarily be something that'd stand out significantly...it's not too bad. I think that's a great phrase for this actually...it's not too bad.
