We finish breakfast, "So, have you thought about going to your father yet?" I ask Wilford, not sure if I should've brought it up, but it was out before I could think of the consequences. Wilford looks at me, closing the dishwasher. He sighs and nods, "Yes...we're going today"

My eyes light up. I smile brightly at him, "really!?" I ask, wanting to make sure he isn't joking. Wilford looks at me, clearly not being all too excited, and nods at me, "yes...really" He tells me. I smile excited, pecking his lips, "Awesome! I'm gonna get dressed!" I tell him before I jog up the stairs.

I pick out nice pants with a button up. I do my hair and make-up before walking downstairs. I walk up to Wilford and tell him, "I'm ready!" Wilford looks me up and down, "You seem dressed really fancy for this" He says. "Well, I'm meeting my father-in-law for the first time today!" I tell him, "I want to make a good first impression!" I smile proud.

Wilford looks at me, "Don't worry, I think you'd make a pretty good first impression by just showing up and smiling" He says. I smile shyly, "Oh Wilford, stop, you're making me blush" I breathe a soft giggle. Wilford can't help but chuckle. He walks upstairs to get dressed himself.

I look in the mirror, making sure my hair is still okay. I ruffle it up a bit and smile. Today is finally the day.

A little while later Wilford walks downstairs too, wearing his normal outfit. Yellow blouse, grey pants, pink bowtie and suspenders et cetera. I smile at him, "ready to go?" I ask him. Wilford looks at me and can't help but smile at my excitement. He gives me a small nod, "Sure, sweetcheeks" He says, opening the door for me.

I walk outside, to the car, hearing Wilford close and lock the front door behind me. The car unlocks, and I get in on the passenger side. Wilford gets in too and starts the car. "Is it a long drive?" I ask him, because of my motion sickness. He nods, "about four and a half hours" He tells me.

I nod and take a pill to prevent myself from puking my breakfast out when we're on the middle of the highway. Wilford starts driving as I buckle my seatbelt. After a little while I close my eyes to take a nap. After all these years of my motion sickness, I started to discover ways to make it less worse. Taking a nap is one of them.

I lower myself in my seat and close my eyes, knowing I'll get some sleep. The sleep I didn't get when I woke up yesterday night. I hear the radio before I drift off.
