"I always wanted to do this." North turned to you and Markus, before pushing the heavy gates open, the creaking noise vibrating through the cold night.

What? Open a gate?

You held back the nasty remark playing on your lips, after all, North had been one of the nicest since your arrival. Maybe it was possible to become friends, one day. Except it was annoying how close Markus was to her, telling her almost everything about his life.

You gripped tightly onto the straps of your bagpack, the (f/c) gloves making it harder to hold onto. Snow was coming down hard, in harsh flakes that coated your skin.

"Remember our plan. Set the androids free, then use the spraycans to leave our message." He glanced at North,"Peacefully."

She nodded grimly, then you three began to make your way towards Android Zone, the big store selling androids. Despite it being closed, the bright expensive lights were still on, and the whole store looked swanky with all the white marble tiles.

You suddenly felt as if someone had slapped you, staring at all these androids being put up on display like creatures, or freaks...

I was one of them too...

Blinking back the tears, you tried to clear your mind and focus on the mission. But it was so hard to, when your vision was suddenly filled with red blocks and words floating about.

We are not animals to be put on display.

How a few years ago, you was just one of them on the circular stand, having people decide if they wanted you or not, like you was an item.

We are not creatures to be ordered around.

And all the times Leo had tried to lock you out when Carl was too tired and in bed, how you was so desperate to get back in and feed him medicine.

I am alive.

Around you, Markus and North were calling out your name but their voices sounded like white noise, and your hands were punching furiously away at these walls that surrounded you, trapped you in a little prison.

I AM HUMAN.

Your head was throbbing painfully for some reason, and the awful feeling could not stop. The red walls were collasping down, as if someone had snatched a block out of a lego stack, crumbling into dust, but why wasn't the hate and frustration going away?

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)!" Within a second, the walls had disappeared. You blinked, and realised you had been curled into a small corner against the store shutters, blue blood coating your fingers.

Shit. What happened?

The sensation was akine to waking up from a dream, and you winced in pain as you got up, while Markus was next to you, his robes stained with the blood as well.

"Umm..." You stammered, and ran your hand through your (h/c) locks. More blue blood. Wow, did I bang my head against the wall or something?

"Congrats, (Y/n). You're a deviant now." North grinned and took your hand, pulling you up. But Markus shot you a worried look, and turned away.

"(Y/n), we need to talk."

"Can we complete the mission first? You don't want the drones capturing our faces." North interjected, gesturing to the small machines that floated delicately.

"Fine. But after this," Markus glanced carefully at you, "There's something I need to tell you."
