The End's Illusion

Time skip

(Y/N POINT OF VIEW) After the call with Hunnigan we decided to move along deeper in the shore, We passed a few trees until we see a weird like structure. We approach it noticing its a whole bridge system, and at the end was a wide tunnel. It took us a while but we finally made it to the tunnel, only walking a few feet in I trip on something. Causing Leon to catch me by both of my arms, Leon looks at me concerned. We both stare at each other for five seconds until I stand up and break the silence saying "Uh, *clears throat* What did I trip on?" I look around at the ground, it was kinda dark so I couldn't see much. I felt a hand on my shoulder, I get turned around to see Leon putting his hand on the side my hair. I freeze wondering what he was about to do, he puts something on the side on my hair. I watch his hand move away from my face, he says "Click the button". In confusion I put my hand over a tiny cylinder and feel a button, I press it to reveal a flashlight turned on. I look up at Leon with his already turned on, he was smirking at me. I feel my face turn red so I turn around and look down at the ground, after 3 minutes of searching I finally found something. "Ha! I found it" I turn around and look at Leon coming over to me, "What is it?" Leon asks, "Not sure, it looks like the symbol the religion has" I say while thinking. I get lost in my thought while holding the strange object, I just stare at it...thinking.

(LEON'S POINT OF VIEW) I watch her stare at the thing while I noticed her calm expression on her face, it makes me think to myself "Why does she push away from me?" I get lost looking in her (E/C), she turns to talk to me but I can't speak. I just keep looking at her with nothing to say, my gaze breaks when she says "Leon!" I blink many times at her and wake up from my trance. "Yeah" I say, "Ready to head out?" she says calmly. "Oh yeah sure" I say, after saying that I watch her walk off with me hitting my head mumbling under my breath "Stupid, Stupid". 

(Leon)- As Leon jogs to catch up with (Y/N) he says "So, any idea where this leads?"

(Y/N)- "No, clue" she says not breaking her eye contact with the path.

(Leon)- "Is that a lever?" After saying that he runs up to it and pulls it down.

Doing that resulted in a massive door opening, getting pulled from the ceiling of the cave. (Y/N) stared in shock and turns to Leon, giving him a thumbs up. (Y/N) walks up to Leon about to say something until they hear radio static. Leon suddenly pulls out his walkie.

(Leon)- "We've obtained a object that resembles the cult group's insignia"

(Hunnigan)- "Wonderful you two, Head back to the church. Ashley's safety is our immediate priority."

(Y/N)- "Copy that"

Time skip

(Y/N POINT OF VIEW) We made it to the church, Leon puts in the strange object into the church door, weirdly enough there was a hole for it. It fit perfectly making the door open for us to go in. Leon and I walk in to notice the symbol of the religion is everywhere, While walking up to a pedestal I notice another puzzle. "Great" I said in a irritated tone, "Not a fan of puzzles are we?" Leon asks. "No not really, but we can't complete it yet" I say, I turn around and say to Leon "We need to find a button or lever to get the puzzle on first". I walk down and notice stairs and point to them, making Leon respond with a "Heh...puzzles, don't know where they start and don't know when they end". Leon and I go up the stairs and look around till we spot a suspicious button on a table. We approach it, hesitating to press it. I look at Leon and say sarcastically "Bet that it will make this place explode", Leon chuckles and presses it. We look over and notice lights appeared and shined on the puzzle. "Figures" I say while going down the stairs, I walk up to the puzzle preparing myself for what bull this is.

(LEON'S POINT OF VIEW) I notice her doing the puzzle and wonder how she isn't struggling, I see her eyes widen and look at me. "What?" I say, she replies with a proud "This". Random barred doors lift up as (Y/N) steps down. We head over to the room where the doors lifted and slightly open the door. I see a girl run by before I completely open the door.

(Leon)- "Ashley!" he says in shock

(Ashley)- "Don't come!" while saying that she throws a wood plank making (Y/N) to catch it before it hits Leon. 

(Leon)- "Hey take it easy!"

(Ashley)- "No get away you two!" she says this while dropping to the ground and covering herself with her knees. (Y/N) approaches her gently.

(Y/N)- "Calm down, everything is gonna be just fine. My name is (Y/N) and that's Leon, we are under the president's order to rescue you" while saying that Leon drops down to talk to her, making Ashley turn to him.

(Ashley)- "What! My Father?" she says while getting close to his face, making Leon back away a bit. 

(Leon)- "That's right, and we have to get you out of here" he gets up while helping Ashley, he turns around to see (Y/N) by the door. 

(Leon)- "Now, come with us" he starts approaching the door, while walking Leon and (Y/N) hear radio static.
