I woke up the next morning with the sun beaming on my eyes through my window. I clenched them shut before turning my head to look at my dresser and reopening them. My clock read 6 AM, so I had time before I had to meet the team at 7.

I stretched my body out on my sheets with a groan before groggily standing up and stumbling to the bathroom.

Once I reached the bathroom I grabbed my toothbrush, put some water on the stiff bristles, put toothpaste on them and then put more water on them before beginning to brush my teeth. The whole time avoiding the mirror. After a few minutes I spit out the toothpaste and cupped my hands under the faucet, then brought my hand full of clear, warm water to my mouth, slowly drinking the water from my hand and gargling the water in my mouth before spitting the bubbly water into the sink. I rinsed the sink and made my way back to my room.

In my room I slipped into my usual ninja attire. I tied my brunette hair back into the usual ponytail with a strong elastic band. I parted my bangs and pushed them to their designated sides of my head before I began tying on my Hitai-ate. The symbol of Konoha was crisply engraved in the shiny, silver metal. I made sure to gently pull out my bangs that was stuck under the cloth of my Hitai-ate. Once I was done, I looked over my appearance in the mirror.

Of course I don't look good., I thought to myself as I let out a sigh of exhaustion. I was tired of being me.

I took another look at the clock, it read 6:40 AM. I didn't think I needed anything else for the day, so I began to open my bedroom window. I would rather exit the house from my bedroom window every day than see my father every day. I pulled back the white curtains, the material silky and soft under my hands. I unlocked the locks on the windows and slid them open. It was a very windy day, since it was near autumn, so a chilly breeze rushed into the room with the new opening. The curtains flew back into my room and I swiftly jumped through the window, landing on the cold, solid, red bricks of my roof. I slid my window back closed, and began hoping along the roof tops of buildings. I was on my way to the training grounds to meet Team Minato.

-

I arrived at the training grounds shortly after I left my house because of the close proximity between the two locations and my quick speed. Only 7 minutes had passed, so I still had to wait another 13 minutes. I sighed and looked around the training grounds. It was dusty, with the dirt on the surface being loose from so much impact and training upon it. There was a singular tree, a very large one that was on the outskirts of the training grounds with many green, fat, bushes lining it.

Then, I tensed. Another presence was at the grounds. I looked towards the single, great tree, where I felt the strong chakra presence. I couldn't see anybody, so I shuffled my feet a little to see on the other side of the tree. Lo and behold, a male was sitting on a thick branch with foliage all around him, looking forward. He was swinging a kunai around his index finger, the polished metal reflecting the dawn sun.

"Hey," I called towards the boy. He kept looking forward in the direction he was staring. I couldn't tell if he was ignoring me or actually didn't hear me.

"Are you a part of Team Minato?" I called to his once again, this time with a question. This time he looked at me. He didn't seem the slightest bit interested. The boy let out a slight sigh and stood up and hopped off of the branch he was residing on, landing a few feet in front of me.
