After six hours passing, I was finally on to the last bathroom. The Johnson's have six full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms. Once I finished all of the bathrooms on the main floor, I went down to my bathroom, then the one that's in the other part of the basement that my room is closed off of, then Richard and Victoria's, then Nicole's, and now Dimitri's. His room was at the very end of the upstairs hallway.
He was asleep when I came in there and I didn't want to wake him. I walked as quietly as I could into his bathroom and closed the door as soon as I got in there. Dimitri's bathroom was nearly as clean as Victoria's and Richard's, which meant that it wasn't going to take me long. I finished about twenty minutes after I came in there and as soon as I opened the door to enter Dimitri's room, I saw him sitting up on his bed with his head looking down upon his phone.
"Did I wake you?" I asked, causing his face to look up at me.
He stared at me for a moment but then answered me, "No, I woke up on my own. Is the bathroom clean now?"
"Yes. Do you need anything?" I replied.
"Bernadette, I told you that you don't need to worry about me. You don't need yet another person to take orders from."
I made a small smile on my face. "I know, it's still polite to ask if a person needs anything however."
"Why should you be polite to me?"
His question made me laugh. "Well, you're the only member of your family that's even trying to make my first day easier."
A smile grew on his face and then he said, "Actually, can you walk with me in the garden?"
"... Sure, let me just see if your parents or sister need anything first," I responded and began to turn around to walk out of the room.
However, I heard Dimitri's voice speak up and say, "I asked you for something first so they're all just gonna have to wait."
I turned towards him with a surprised expression on my face and questioned him, "I thought you said that I didn't have to worry about you meaning I don't have to take orders from you."
He chuckled and then said, "Do you wanna take a break or not?" with laughter still in his voice.
"Fine, but at least let me go and put this supplies away," I answered.
"I'll walk with you there that way none of them try to snag you," he added while getting up from his bed. As we walked out of his room, the realization hit me of that the rest of my life is going to be like this. Following the orders of the Johnson's and other Owners and talking to Dimitri since it seems as though that none of his family members do.
The doors in the dark hallway were all closed fortunately. However, the large clock on the wall read that it was six p.m. meaning it was almost dinner time. I looked up at Dimitri and told him, "It's kind of late and I haven't made dinner yet so-" I was cut off by him speaking up.
"We'll be out for fifteen minutes at the most," he told me. I nodded and walked downstairs with Dimitri following behind me. He continuously tells me that I don't have to worry about what he says, yet he is using all of the power that he has to make sure that I go on this walk with him.
