Oh no, hey guys it's me, your bad author. I've come here to say this story will not follow the same sequences of events that the actual story did. For example, this chapter Count Olaf will have a ball, because I need to write some fluff ;) and also that kinda sounds like something he'd do just so he can show off his 'beautiful house' or his 'good looks'. So I hope you like this possibly very fluffy next two chapters and thanks for reading. Also I AM SO SORRY FOR TAKING FOREVER TO UPDATE AND I REALLY HOPE YOU ALL DON'T HATE ME BUT LIFE HAS BEEN GETTING SO WEIRD BUT I AM SO HAPPY TO TELL YOU ALL I AM IN A WILD AND CRAZY BUT ALSO AMAZING RELATIONSHIP, I SWEAR EVERY SECOND I'M WITH HIM IT FEELS LIKE A FANFIC. Anyway, I digress.

We had made our way back to Count Olafs and were happy to see he wasn't waiting for us on the first floor. Walking in casually, we were looking for the list of chores the Count made for us. After about 15 minutes of rummaging through sections of the house in search of the list we had huffed and given up."Where is it?!" Y/N said angrily at no one in particular.
"I have no clue Y/N" Violet sighed as she slid down on the ground with her back against the wall.
"There has to be one! All my years of living here he's always had me do extra chores throughout the day!" she had sighed and slid next to Violet "As you can see we have tons of fun at Count Olaf's home of broken child labor laws" she joked to Violet.
Violet gave a weak laugh and smiled at the pretty girl who was biting her lip lost in thought. Violet grinned a little more when she had turned to her brother who was awkwardly staring at Y/N and smiling.
"Hey Klaus, I don't think staring is very polite" Violet teased her brother.
Y/N looked up at him while he quickly looked away with a red face. Violet started laughing and soon Klaus did too in attempts of redeeming himself.
"What the hell is all of this happiness?!" Count Olaf yelled at the top of the stairs.
"We're just so excited to see what our chores are today count." Klaus smiled.
"As I presume you all would be... but no need to get your hopes up because today we are having A BALL!"
"A uh ball?"
"Yes a BALL!"
"Do people even have those anymore?" Klaus whispered to Sunny.
Sunny responded in a series of gurgles that meant something along the lines of "At this point I would believe to happen".
Count Olaf continued telling them his grand idea of a "mystical" and "grand" masquerade ball he had planned out.
"Okay, so we set this ball up for you and you have this huge party. What will we do during it?" Y/N inquired.
"Exactly what's so exciting! My dear daughter, YOU will be the entertainment. I'll get you in a lovely ballgown and you will play your violin." The Count smiled.
"You play the violin?" Klaus whispered to Y/N.
"Yeah kinda"
"KINDA!? MY DEAR DAUGHTER/LOWLY PEASANT YOUR VIOLIN SKILLS ARE ONE OF THE REASONS WHY I'M HAVING THIS PARTY!!!" Olaf exasperated.
"THANK YOU FATHER! No need to yell but yes I can play and I have been playing for 11 years." Y/N said coolly.
"I think that's beautiful, I love the violin y/n" Violet smiled.
"Thank you, I know my slave is talented that's why I kept her."
TIME SKIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
"Done and done!" Sunny gurgled after creating an ice sculpture of a young violin player that resembled y/n.
"Awh thank you Sunny!" Y/N smiled and hugged little Sunny.
The room was lavishly decorated (well as lavish as they could make they old house). The place didn't look as disgusting but you still could see the obscene number of odd stains and strange holes on the walls and floors. The children smiled at their well done job and all fell back on the couch in a sigh of relief, each covered in gold paint or some type of decoration, they had smiled at the job they had done.
"I'm so proud!" Violet said towards Y/N "I think it might be time to get dressed"
Y/n had got the memo when she had looked at the Count leaning against the stairwell looking at the chandelier vehemently. She had gathered Sunny up and followed Violet to their shared room ready to be dressed. Even if Violet had preferred movable and effective clothing she really didn't mind feeling pretty and getting in large ballgowns from time to time. Hers, naturally, was violet. It wasn't too large and had very delicate gold lacing along the arms and ends of the dress, she spun and felt very happy despite being in a very damp and gloomy room. Sunny was dressed by Violet in a very happy pale green dress. It was large and puffy but it made Sunny look like a tiny mushroom, and she was very contempt with that idea. Y/N's dress was large and extravagant due to Olaf's request. He had wanted his daughter to stand out and indeed she did. It was a wonderful burgundy with a large gold sash that tied into a large bow in the back of the dress. Her hair was put up in a dainty bun with a lovely little gold ribbon per Violet's request. Y/n had to admit despite her never ever being able to admit to herself the truth about how she felt, even her herself felt a little pretty too.
"Wow" Both girls had said with awe as y/n turned around.
"I'm flattered really guys, but be completely honest... do I look a bit like a poodle? Not even in the slightest?"
They all giggled and complimented each other on tiny details of their attire.
"Speaking of poodles...where's Klaus." Violet questioned
"I'm uh right here."
"For how long you little cre-"
Y/n turned around and smiled. He didn't have any different changes to him but the brushing of his hair and the fanciness of his attire. She did have to admit he did look rather dashing, and that thought she had smiled and thought of him and a new light.
"You look amazing Klaus. I really didn't know you could clean up." Y/n smiled
"I look great, thank you very much." He smiled "You look very nice, well that's a big understatement I believe because I've truly never seen anything like it."
"I'm not sure if I should be complimented or offended, Klaus."
"Complimented please, last thing I'd ever want you to feel is anything less than beautiful, because that's indeed what you are y/n, beautiful and everything at this very moment"
She blushed intensely as a huge silence fell across the room. For a second it felt as if Klaus and Y/n were the only ones in the room, silently staring at each other and thinking the same things about one another. Their staring for them seemed to last a century and they never wanted it to end. He had smiled at her and they started to slowly walk towards each other. In their mind they had a conversation and told each other how they felt and knew everything would work itself out. They were so close yet so far to each other, when suddenly, they heard a loud boom from a (clearly) already partying Count Olaf.
"WHO'S READY TO PARTY?!" Count Olaf had said, graciously interrupting the moment.
