Late (Yoo Kihyun FF)

when byul arrived at home, she was stunned to see kihyun waiting at the gate for her.

"byul-ah! kaja, my house is down the road." he held his hand out and byul quickly shook her head.

"i look like a mess! give me a bit.." kihyun grabbed her hand and smiled.

"you look pretty already, byulie. kaja. i don't want to keep our moms waiting." she blushed and carefully took his hand. as they were walking kihyun swung their hands softly as byul bit her lip, wanting to ask kihyun who that girl was.

"ki oppa!" a high-pitched voice shouted and byul looked up to see the girl from the elevator.

"oh.. joohyun-ah. what are you doing here?" he let go of byul's hand and took a step away from her.

"i thought that we could eat dinner together? maybe with your parents too? please oppa?" he sighed as the girl kept batting her eyelashes at kihyun.

"sorry joohyun but no. i already have plans." he grabbed byul's hand and pulled her gently into gate of his house. byul gasped and admired the flowers around the pathway and the modern but cozy looking mansion.

when kihyun opened the door, byul was astonished with the interior. kihyun smiled shyly at her reaction and while going to find his mother. "make yourself at home byulie, i'm going to go find my mom."

byul nodded and started to walk around the living room. she smiled softly as she picked up a picture of kihyun's baby picture. it was a picture with his brother whom byul knew about but never met.

byul walked more down the hall and discovered a more recent photo. her heart dropped a bit but she tried her best not to ruin her mood. it was a picture of kihyun kissing another girl. byul suddenly became insecure about herself and kihyun's feelings about her. thoughts that she didn't want to think ran through her mind as she stared at the picture longer and longer.

"byulie!" she quickly turned at the mention of her name and saw kihyun with a young-looking lady standing next to him. "this is my eomma, eomma, this is eun byul."

"a-ah, annyeongahsayo. i'm eun byul. nice to meet you mrs. yoo." byul shook his mothers hand and nervously smiled.

"oh my my! my ki has gotten himself such a polite and beautiful lady! please call me eomoni, byul!" byul nodded and bit her lower lip still having the picture stuck in her head. kihyun's mother smiled and walked off back to the garden, where they would be having their dinner.

"what's wrong? you seem... tense." kihyun worriedly held her shoulder and she shook her head, trying to avoid eye contact with him. kihyun slowly looked around the hall to see if anything could have triggered her. his eyes averted to the photo on the wall and he laughed.

"is this what your all pouty about?" byul slowly looked up at the picture and gave an embarrassed nod. he held her cheeks so she made eye contact with him and gave a reassuring smile.

"i'm sorry, my mom didn't take this down. this girl right here... is my first love-" byul's heart dropped to her stomach but continued to listen to kihyun. "but.. she's gone. she fought her hardest but she lost to cancer, byulie. so don't worry. although she made me happy and we made good memories, you're the only one in my heart now and nothings going to change that okay?" byuls cheeks warmed as she listened to his words.

"you promise?" byul held out her pinky shyly and kihyun chuckled. "of course byulie." he locked her pinky with her as they made eye contact for a few seconds. she noticed kihyun was getting closer to her and she could only stare at his lips and back to his eyes. kihyun had a look of lust and love in his eyes and byul was ready for his next move.

he suddenly pulled away and hugged her softly. "if i kiss you now, i wouldn't be able to control myself." he whispered into her ears and made her insides feel all tingly.

however, byul was not satisfied with him leaving her hanging so she decided to pull his tie so he could be at her level and gave him a soft kiss. kihyuns eyes widened as he tasted byul's strawberry flavored lip balm. he wrapped his arm around her waist as the kiss lasted for a few seconds longer.

byul had pushed him away gently and smiled softly. "i like you so much, yoo kihyun." her sudden confession caught kihyun off guard and he held his heart in happiness. realizing what she had said, byul ran off to find the garden as kihyun let out a big smile.

"i like you too eun byul!<3" kihyun shouted softly for byul to hear before following after the lost girl.
