Blood Covered Roses

Chapter 5

I woke up and rolled over to see that Jeff was gone. I noticed a note laying on the pillow next to mine
"Be back later"
I smiled a little to myself as I read the note. I rolled back over to catch the time. 1:00pm. Damn I slept in again. Luckily my mom wasn't here or she would flip out. I got up and hopped in the shower. I brushed my hair and threw on a band t shirt and some black yoga shorts. I went digging through my bag and came across the few applications I found yesterday for a job. I rolled my eyes and tossed them aside. I continued to dig through my bag when something caught my attention at my window. I looked in the direction and slowly got up to see what it was. My eyes focused as I got closer.
It was.... a green and silver moonstone dagger? What is this? What was it doing here? I toyed with it in my hands my fingers carefully running across its blade. It was beautiful. Did Jeff get this for me? I set the dagger on my desk and decided I would ask Jeff about it once he got back. I heard a small rumble and felt my stomach threaten to eat me if I didn't feed it something. I quickly went down stairs to making something to eat. I was too lazy to really cook anything so I grabbed a few strawberries and a glass of water and went back to my room.
I slowly closed the door careful not to spill the water and strawberries that I carried. I set the glass and bowl on my desk and grabbed my headphones. I plugged them into my laptop and opened it up. As soon as I did the screen was black and green as it made a swirly motion. I looked at it for a few moments before a blonde boy with a green hat poked his head through. I jumped back a little startled at him. He looked kinda like link from legend of Zelda only his eyes were black and blood dripped from them. He chuckled and winked at me
" Jeff didn't tell me you were this cute"
I could feel my face turning red as I just stared at him. Ben? I remember. He's a creepypasta. This is Ben drowned. I smiled a little at him only to get a puzzled look in return.
" mhm. Your Ben aren't you?"
" hehe has that dumb bastard already said shit about me?" He looked at me before rolling his eyes black eyes.
"No actually, I just so happen to read about creepypastas even before I met Jeff."
"Well damn. I guess you know all of us then?"
I shook my head no.
" not personally. "
He gave me a slight smirk.
" I'm sure last night you and Jeff got real personal"
His grin grew wider. I huffed and rolled my eyes, slamming my laptop tight.
" that was fuckin nice Luna."
I heard him say before watching the green glow from my laptop disappear. I snorted to myself at his remark. I sighed as I got up from my computer. What now? I'm so bored.
As I layed on my bed I started to hear a light static sound. I sat up and looked out my window. My eyes grew wide when i saw a really tall man in a black suit with a red tie standing just shy of the tree line to the Woods. When my eyes moved to his face.... only he didn't have one. Nothing. Just white. I moved closer to my window to get a better look.
Slenderman. I thought to myself.
" come home child "
I heard a deep voice echo in my head. I quickly got up and put on black skinny jeans and boots. I also grabbed the dagger I found earlier and shoved it in my hoodie pocket . I ran outside to the line of the woods. I didn't see him anywhere. I can't remember the last time I went into the woods. I sighed heavily and ran straight through the woods trying to find Slenderman. I pushed through bushes And briars and passed what felt like a thousand trees. The more I went through the woods, the darker it felt. I finally stopped giving my legs a break and catching my breath.
I looked around me with only trees in sight.
" do you know why your here Luna?"
I heard the voice again in my head. I nervously looked around without finding who the voice belonged to.
" no..."
I said out loud hopeing for an answer in return. I felt a hand on my shoulder and slightly jumped. I slowly looked up following the hand to its owner. He was a lot taller up close. All I could do was stare. My eyes not daring to move where his eyes should be.
" luna you are a very unique girl."
I looked at him puzzled . He pointed to my hoodie pocket and I slowly took out the moonstone dagger.
" this, child, is a very special dagger. Made for only one person. You , Luna have much to know about yourself. There is more to you than you know."
His voice boomed in my head making it ache. I rubbed my temples trying to soothe it. He moved his head side ways as to say sorry. I gave him a small smile to let him know I'm fine. I looked at the dagger again it began to glow a white light.
" Luna. Your not going to like this.... however I'm going to teleport you to a particular place. No one will be there but you. This is so you can see what you are..."
" w-wait.... your gonna what?!" I yelled back at him. He slowly reached his hand to my shoulder to take me. I quickly stepped back and took off running. I ran so fast holding on to the dagger.
What the hell?! He wants to send me where??? I'll be the only one there? What does he me to see what I am?? I need Jeff. Jeff where are you?
Even when my legs began to burn along with my chest I forced myself to run. I was almost out of the woods till I fell heavy on the leaves below me. My eyes began to blur and soon everything went black.

I woke up into darkness. My head was pounding and my eye sight was still blurry. I rubbed them making my surrounding clearer. A hole? I saw a dim light from the opening of a hole. I looked around me noticing the roots and dirt from a tree that must be above me.
I began to crawl out slowly as not to hurt myself. When I got out I stood up and dusted the dirt off my knees and hands. I took a good look around to see a thick forest.  It trees were a dark lush green and the floor was clear if dead leaves and was left with padded down dirt and big tree roots.  I began to walk aimlessly around hopeing there would be a way out.
He sent me here? Why here? it looks like a darker wonderland. The small dim lights and the small glows from trees of purple and pinks and blues and greens. I walked for a few minutes and soon came across a small pond. It was very foggy but as I looked closer it was completely black. I bent on my knees too look at it closer. When I looked closer I heard something strange from it and a hand reached out and pulled me in. I struggled to pull the hand off but failed. Soon I was consumed by complete darkness again, leaving the forest behind me in  dead silence .
