Chapter 7

Jeff's pov
Please let her be safe, I thought as I closely followed Ben, trying keeping a lookout for Slenderman. What does this have to do with that bastard? The hell he do to her? I knew she had yet to find her real father. Did Slenderman take her to him? Or just killed her before she found out? I bumped into Ben making me lose my thoughts.
" the hell you stopped for?"
" dude shut up. Look"
He pointed to one of slendermans pages that was stuck to a tree. I looked around unable to find him. I growled under my breath and began walking and ben followed.
We searched for a long time with no luck. Annoyed I pulled my knife out and yelled.
"HEY SLENDER ASS MAN!! WHERE ARE YOU ASSHOLE?!"
Ben looked at me doing his best to contain a laugh. I glanced at him and shrugged. I felt something hit me sending me flying against a tree.
" ouch! Son of bitch."
I look back and saw Slenderman. If he had eyes I know he would be glaring daggers into me.
"What is it that you want Jeffery?"
I gritted my teeth and held my knife tightly glaring back at the tall creature.
" don't fuckin call me that!"
Ben rolled his eyes and pushed me to face Slenderman.
"He wants to know where Luna is. What did you do slen?"
Slenderman rubbed his temple with a tentacle and sighed heavy.
" I sent her to the lost forest, Aurora. There she will find herself. And no Im not killing her. "
"Bring. Her. Back. Now. "
"I can't Jeff. Only she can bring herself back. It's only a matter of waiting now."
GodDamn it. I know he wouldn't let me go there either. This damn forest was kept in a locket he held closely to him. No one could ever get to it. I knew a little about what happened it was a while before I got here. I know her father and mother were trapped there on punishment for eternity. I sighed and looked down placing my knife into my pocket.
"Is she safe?"
I could feel Slenderman watching me.
"Yes... she's fine."
I sighed and groaned. I nodded my head and began walking back to the mansion. I motioned ben to follow.
"Come on ben..... let's go"

Luna's pov
I quickly opened my eyes still seeing darkness around me. Did something change? I looked at my hands and noticed they had a soft olive glow to them. I noticed I was still holding the dagger but it wasn't glowing anymore. I feel fine? I don't feel any different.
" Luna... you seem confused"
" I am. I don't feel any different. "
His voice was so commanding, I nearly forgot he was there.
He lifted me up to his face met mine. It was too dark too see him but his eyes pierced through me. He stared at me noticing I was curious about his glowing green eyes. He lifted his other hand and brushed a finger over my head.
"Luna my child, you will change over the next 3 days. How you look, how you sense things....
things will change. It takes time and within 3 days you will learn of your abilities. Keep this dagger with you it will give you answers you can't find on your own. "
He gave a soft kiss on my head and began to lift me higher allowing me out of the black lake.
" wait! "
He pulled me back down to his face.
" will I..... ever see you again? What kind of abilities do I have? What if I can't control them? Do I ever meet my-"
He cut me off
" Luna. You are a smart girl. I'll be here if you need me. I know I can never leave. I can't tell you your abilities but your appearance is of your mothers so you might have more of my abilities than your mothers. When the time is right you will meet her. Just remember the forest above me is Aurora ."
I slowly nodded my head. Everything about him felt so familiar and... safe. Like I had known him my whole life. Part of me was sad that I had to leave and he couldn't go with me. I wanted to save him and my mother. But how? Or was it even possible? He once again lifted me up out of the lake, but just before I was pushed through it's black water I looked back at him.
" I'll set you free! You and m-mommy!"
I yelled down at him and saw his eyes look up at me.
" focus on you Luna. Make me proud my beautiful baby girl. "
I could feel my throat tighten up and tears form in my eyes.
" I....D-Daddy...." I whispered to myself.
"You are my greatest gift Luna.."
I held my dagger tightly and held my breath and felt myself burst through the black water. I gasped for air and swam over to land. Hm that's funny when I went down there it was black goo? I shrugged it off and strained the water from my hair, standing up and brushing the grass off me. I placed the dagger in my pocket and began walking.
Wait .....how the hell do I get out of here? I thought to myself looking around for some idea.
After walking for a while I came across a huge tree that had a hole in the side. I looked in it only to find bugs and spider webs. I sighed heavily and back up looking at the tree again.
" now what?" I muttered to myself.
"Focus...."
I looked around hearing a voice through the wind. What the hell?
""focus..... your destination...."
Who is that? I looked in the hole again and still saw nothing.
Oh shit!! I remember. This forest is Aurora, my .........mother. I looked around and smiled.
" m-momma..."
I got a huge gust of wind in return. I giggled and laughed as my eyes began to water. I twirled through the wind and I returned my gaze at the tree and it's black hole.
" I feel like this is my way out.... but how?"
The forest was still once more.
"Focus....." she whispered through the trees.
"Focus? On what?"
I saw the dagger lightly glow.
"Focus..... your destination..."
I lifted the dagger in front of the hole and closed my eyes. I could feel my body burning and the energy that flowed through me. I thought of the woods back home and focused.
" don't worry momma.....we'll meet for real some day...and I'll set you and father free..."
I could sense trees and branches circle me and the wind through my hair. I closed my eyes tight feeling the warm bright flash of light in my hands.

Jeff's pov.
Goddamn it. It's been 2 days since Luna was sent to the lost forest. Slenderman can't even sense her anymore. He won't sent me to her either. I was in the middle of sharpening my knife when ben burst into my room. I turned and glared at him.
"Can you fuckin knock?!"
He rolled his eyes and flipped me off
" like I give a shit. Get your ass down stairs. You gonna wanna see this. "
I raised an eyebrow at him and he smirked leaving the door wide opened. I sighed heavily as rolled my eyes. If this was some stupid trick he was playing, im really gonna kill him this time. I walked down stairs and saw a glow from the kitchen side door that lead to outside. What the hell? What the fuck is that? I saw ben, eyeless jack, and Toby looking outside too. Confused expressions on their face. I pushed past them and ran outside. I saw Slenderman in front of a tree with a big ass hole in it. It was.... glowing?
"What hell Slenderman?!"
He looked at me and pointed. There was someone there. I looked closer as the light began to fade.
Luna? I stepped closer. Luna!!!! It was her she was save. She was back. She.... looked different.
I didn't care I ran to her so fast and held her close to me. I felt her hug back tight. I kissed her forehead and looked at her.
Her skin had a warm glow to it and her eyes look like they held the galaxy. Her hair was longer and was a rich brown color.
" you.... I "
She silenced me with the tips of her fingers. I kissed her gently and pulled her tighter to me. She broke the kiss and smiled up at me.
" I missed you... my Jeff the killer"
" I missed you......... So much..."
I buried my face in her hair and breathed in her sent. I pulled away slightly to looked at her and marveled at her beauty.
" what?"
She said sheepishly and looked at me confused.
" your appearance They have changed. I like them.......But you've always been beautiful.."
She smiled at me and I felt her body give out in my arms.
"Luna... are you okay?"
I picked her up carefully. I turned to walk back to the house with Slenderman behind me.
"Jeff she is weak from using her. She needs rest"
I nodded and walked back to the mansion. Fortunately when I walked in everyone continued their activities as usual. I went to my room and placed Luna on my bed. She was almost asleep. I took her boots off and pulled covers over her.
" Jeff?"
"Hmm?"
" lay with me? Till I fall asleep?"
I smile slightly and took my hoodie off . I laid beside her and she turned laying her head on my chest. I brushed her hair with my hand kissing her forehead.
" I... love you. "
It was quiet for a moment and I looked down. She was already fast asleep before she could hear me.
I sighed and leaned my head back. Thank fuck she didn't hear that.
