Chapter 14

Luna.

My eyes shot open as I inhaled sharply, waking up with a start. I could feel the sweat drip from my forehead down my neck as frantically looked around the room. My eyes caught the many knives that stuck out of the wall. 'Good...Jeff's room' I thought. Climbing out of bed a cold gush of air pricked my feet making me shiver as I slowly stood up, My eyes once again glanced around the room. I noticed the window that was slightly cracked open and quickly made my way over to close it back. I turned to face the small closet in the corner of the room, hopeful to find something to keep warm. A soon as I opened the door a white hoodie came to view. ' oh nice, no blood' I thought as I picked it up and slid it over my head extending my arms through the sleeves and pulling it down my body. I looked around for something to put on my feet but to no avail. I sighed and walked out barefooted not minding too much about it.
Walking out, the dark hallway greeted me. I looked both ways until I heard a tv but It sounded more like video games. I walked in the direction of the noise passing the doors that had all the names carved in them. In a way it was creative and it's craftsmanship wasn't too bad. I mentally laughed and glanced back at Jeff's door to see his names carved too. Eh... well... carving smiles? Sure. Carving names into doors? Absolutely not. i snorted covering my mouth in fear someone would hear me. A light glow caught my eye pulling my attention away from the carved names. I peered into the room seeing a more brighter glow of the tv. 'Ah, the Living room' I thought to myself. In front of the tv sat a blonde boy with another that had copper hair. I knew one to be Ben but I didn't know the copper haired boy. Both of them didn't seem to notice me when I walked in helping myself to the couch. I curled my legs up to my chest still chilled from the cold air. I look out the window and noticed that leaves of reds, browns, and yellows fell to the ground. Autumn. It explains why it's so cold in the house. With possible holes and loose windows there's no doubt cold air would get in. Has it really been that long? Returning from my thoughts I looked up to see both boys looking in my direction. One cocked his head while the other, Ben, glared at me.
"Don't let Jeff catch you looking at her Ben .... you know what he would do."
Our attention quickly turn towards jack that was at the moment eating something squishy and..... bloody. Oh yeah, organs, I forgot about that.
He looked at me and gave a toothy grin. I waved back, smiling slightly.
" I don't give a shit what Jeff does."
Ben says as he rolls his eyes and returning to his game.
" B-Ben.... you s-should *tic* s-still be c-carefull....  *tic* Jeff c-can b-be-"
" Jeff can be what Toby?!"
He growled harshly gripping his controller and turning the game off.
" He can be a pain in the ass!! A complete idiot!! Don't get me started on her-"
A knife flew by pinning bens green hat on the wall just above his head. I slowly turned my head to see a very angry Jeff behind me. I let out a shaky breath and hid my head in my knees that where still held to my chest.
Ben narrowed his eyes as they began to turn red. He set his controller down and slowly walked up to Jeff with venomous eyes.
"What Jeff? The fuck you gonna do?"
I could hear Jeff grit his teeth and instantly grabbed the green collar to bens shirt.
" keep her out of your disgusting perverted shit filled mouth...." Both males glared at each other ready to fight when I heard a strange static sound. Jeff let go of Ben and they both held their heads in their hands as it got worse. Strange it didn't hurt my head but I began to worry. I looked around and spotted slenderman standing behind Jeff. Soon the static stopped and it was dead quiet.
" Enough from both of you! Must I always babysit you?!"
His voice boomed as he spoke loudly.
The boys huffed and Ben shoved Jeff before going back to his games.
Jeff then took my hand and began leading me to the kitchen and sitting me down at the table.
"Jeffery?" Slenderman echoed through the house.
He rolled his eyes and turned back to the tall creature.
"I'll be watching her practice with you. Let's get an idea of exactly we are dealing with. "
