Chapter 5:Chat Noir

Elyn's POV

Iwalked over to my desk to grab my bag as Emma walked out. Noticing a box on my desk, I became curious, like usual. Deciding to look at it later, I dropped it into my purse safely.

"Emma!Let's go!" I shouted and walked out.

Heading towards our grandparent's bakery, the Dupain-Cheng bakery, where we spent almost half our childhood, I began thinking about that box.

Tikki's POV

As I felt Emma move, I started sensing Plagg's miraculous. Looks like both heroes are close to each other in their civilian lives...
Hopefully both aren't as dense as Marinette and Adrien.....
Seriously Master Fu needs to stop choosing dense people!

Elyn's POV

We reached the bakery quite quickly. By then I was extremely curious. Yes typically me.

After greeting my grandparents, I sneaked into the toilet, away from where most people were, just to open that box. I usually shared everything with my sister but this time I felt an urge to keep it from everyone...

I opened the box and a ball of glitter emerged. As it cleared I saw a cat-like thing floating in the air.

"Erm hello?"
"COOL A GIRL!!!!" It exclaimed, looking super excited.

HUH?

"IM HUNGRY!!!!"

Erm WTF

"I'm Plagg. I'm a kwami. I allow you to turn into a superhero. You're the new Chat Noir. Got it?"
"Okay......"
"HawkMoth is active again so simply you need to work with the new Ladybug and any other hero chosen to stop akumas"

Wtf

(ELYN.EXE HAS CRASHED)

"I'm the kwami of destruction. Just say cataclysm in your alter ego form and anything you touch will turn into dust. But after using it you only have 5 minutes before you transform back." He fired off a whole string of words, barelygiving me time to react.

This is crazy.

"And before I forget, only ladybug can capture the akuma. Also please tell her that akumas can multiply so that the same thing doesn't happen again."
Plagg continued as I tried not to freak out.
"Same thing?" I asked, trying my best to understand and take in all the information.

WTF is going on and how am I so calm!?!?!?!?

Plagg looked at me and sighed. "The previous ladybug didn't capture the akuma on her first day and the akuma multiplied."

That must have been tough.

"Also you can't tell anyone about me."
"Okay"
"Now......do you have Camembert?"

Yes now we know who the new pair is. You probably should have guessed.

Also I'm aware that in the English version the correct name is Cat Noir but where translated Chat Noir means black cat and it sounded a little nicer

It sounded nicer if you wanna just call by the front half of the name. Can you imagine?
